गणेश जुलूस के दौरान, विसर्जन के दौरान, भक्त “ गणपति बप्पा मोरया, पुधच्या वारशी लवकर या;” का जाप करते हैं। गणपति बापा मोरया, मंगलमूर्ति मोरया!” . पहला आधा मंत्र - "गणपति बप्पा मोरया, पुधच्या वारशि लवकर या" इंगित करता है कि भक्त गणेश को सभी के भगवान (गणपति) और एक पिता (बप्पा) के रूप में संदर्भित कर रहे हैं, जिनकी पूजा मोरया गोसावी द्वारा की जाती थी। वे उनसे प्रार्थना कर रहे हैं कि वह अगले (वार्षिक) वर्ष में शीघ्र (लवकार) लौट आएं।
