Foreigner

It was blue. The sky. Above. Steven rubbed his eyes as it adjusted to the brightness of the place he was in. Wait. 'Where am I?' he thought to himself 'This ain't the airport!!' Suddenly the only emotion he felt was panic. 'My flight' he thought as he struggled to get up from the ground. 'I probably passed out somewhere outside' he thought as he started looking around trying to figure out where he was.  There was no building in sight. Had he wondered too far away from the airport he thought to himself. Why couldn't he remember anything after he walked through that door. 'Well probably amnesia' he chuckled to himself trying to make light the situation he was in.  It was no longer panic he felt flowing through his veins! It was fear and confusion. All he could see were tall trees and some dry bushes. 'f**k! Where am I??' he screamed. No response. He heard rustling and turned around. It was something that looked like a deer but it clearly wasn't. First of all, his body was huge and he had massive antlers like Rudolf but he also had a longer neck and was not brown in color. He was white. 'Wait is this some kind of hallucination? ' he thought to himself as he rubbed his eyes 'Have I been drugged??'. It was a bit childish but he didn't care. He pinched himself. Opened his eyes. It was still there.  He slowly moved to the right and it moved at the same pace in his direction. 'Is this how I die?' he thought to himself. Well, technically if it wanted to kill him he'd be dead by now he thought to himself. Boldly, he stretched out his hand and it came towards his hand with its eyes closed. A wild thought of cutting it up into pieces and eating it entered his head. He actually didn't remember how long it had been since he had eaten. Dismissing his thought he patted its head. It responded with a sound that kind of sounded like he really liked it. 'What am I now? An animal whisperer?' he thought as he stroked its white fur. It was soft and was kind of the fur on horses.  Suddenly, a horn blasted in the distance startling him. 'What was that?' he thought to himself. The creature looked frightened. Not a good sign. 'Well time to make a move' he thought to himself. The creature followed him and he decided to let it because even if he wouldn't admit it he felt safe in its presence. 'Damn, wish it could fly' he thought to himself as he retreated from the spot he was in earlier.  "I shall call you Lily" he said out loud. "Let's make a move Lily" he beckoned as he headed in the opposite direction of the sound. It sounded like whatever or whoever made that sound was getting awfully close. "Come on mate! Hurry up" he called out. The creature paused. It sank into the ground and looked over its shoulder. 'Is he gesturing me to climb and sit on him?' Steven thought. 'I mean why not give it a shot?' he thought to himself. He was right. As soon as he got on, the creature jumped up and started galloping at a pace faster than the approaching sounds from the back. He wondered if it could be friendlies. If he could actually converse with someone he would have an idea of where he was but his gut instinct told him otherwise. 'Got to figure this out myself' he thought 'like I usually do'. He took a quick peak over his shoulders. Nothing was visible in his field of view except more thick foliage. He had to be smart about this. Stealth was key. He decided that the best time to investigate and find information on his whereabouts would be nightfall. he had to concoct a plan.  "Let's find a safe place to rest and then figure out what to do Lily" he said out loud. They soon reached a clearing void of trees. 'This is bad' he thought. 'I have no cover!'. He looked back and froze. What appeared to be a tribe of men in black were heavy on his trail. Adrenaline surged through him as he screamed "Faster Lily!! They are onto us!!" He didn't know who they were but they definitely were NOT friendlies. From his glimpse he estimated a minimum of at least a good twenty men were following him. He was hugely outnumbered. It seemed like they were catching up to him. They were riding creatures too but these creatures were different. They were the size of elephants but were brown and didn't have trunks. They had horns and the face was very similar to that of bulls. Overall, something you'd see only in your worst nightmares.  "Lily why are you slowing down??" he screamed and then he realized. "f**k" he sighed as Lily came to a perfect standstill near the edge of what appeared to be a very steep valley. He pretty much had no choice but to stop and get off the creature.  He put his hands in the air in surrender as the men on his trail also came to a halt. They looked at him and started talking but he couldn't understand what they were saying. He tried gesturing with his hand to make them understand that he did not understand what they were saying. They threw up their weapons in response. He looked over into the edge from where he stood as the men discussed is fate. The were wearing black pants and no shirts. Their skin looked tanned and burnt and their faces did not seem delighted to see him.  'Would I make it if I jump from this ledge?' he thought to himself. Well, the chances were slim at most. He had accepted his fate. The men seemed to have drawn a conclusion judging from the looks on their faces. They nodded in unison and screamed " HITAC HEII".
