Ann:"We will be right outside if you need us honey." Laura nodded in agreement. As she lie in bed, all of the current events swirled in her mind. She was quickly pulled from that when her curtains woodshed with the windows ow open. "Were they open before? I'm quite sure they were closed. maybe they opened them earlier and I just noticed?" she pushed the thought aside when there was another knock at the door. Laura paused before answering with an uncertainty. "Come in. I'm sorry if I don't know you when you walk in. I busted my melon at work apparently, now I've the " I forgotsies". Cody laughed as he walked in the room. "This is exactly why I asked you to marry me." Laura sat up with her heart racing in a panic and moved away from Cody. Cody didn't want to understand, but he knew he needed to. He just wanted the love of his life to remember him. Sadly, Laura knew she didn't love Cody and that she needed to break the news to him gently.
