A Blood Lust

Laura opened her eyes to a blinding light, groaning as she attempted to sit up. Laura jumped at the sight of an unfamiliar couple sitting at her side calling for nurses and the doctor. As she snatched her hands from the couple, they were given the biggest shocks of their lives. Laura: " W-w-who are you people? Why am I in this hospital? What did you do to me"? The couple looked at Laura with sad eyes. Ann: "We're your parents dear. I'm your mother, Ann. This is your father, Frank." Laura tried, but couldn't remember. Just then, the doctor walked in and greeted the parents and Laura. Doctor: " It's good to see you awake Mrs. Johnson. That was a nasty fall you had at work. Do you remember what happened?" Laura: " No doctor, I'm afraid I don't remember ANYTHING." After further examination, the doctor concluded that Laura was suffering from temporary memory loss. After a moment of silence there was a knock at Laura's room door. Ann: "Come in!" In walked a tall, slim, brunette haired man with green eyes. Frank : " Cody my boy! it's good to see you!" Ann: "Hi Cody, you look well. Laura, honey, this is your fiancee, Cody." Laura's Look of shock was obvious.
