Chapter 7

Frank drove while Ann sat beside him and Laura in the back seat. The drive was 3 hours away and Laura ended up falling asleep on the way. She startled awake when the vehicle started going up the mountains. When she looked out of the window, she couldn't believe the breathtaking scenery around her. Sitting up, amazed at what she was seeing, her face quickly turned into a smile. When they made it to the cabin Laura was in pure awe. Frank took the bags in while Ann showed Laura around the grounds in hopes she wouldn't get lost. As the two ladies were walking back, Frank showed Laura he address in case of an emergency. The numbers to all the shops for grocery, healthcare and more was hung on the wall beside the phone. Frank and Ann hugged Laura and headed home. FINALLY! Laura thought as she entered the cabin. Laura couldn't remember much, but she could tell that her parents were well off by the size of the house and cabin. After calling for groceries, Laura tried to pay the delivery man, but he refused saying that everything was paid for. Once the groceries were out away, Laura had a light snack before finding a small library and grabbing a book to read. The books was about vampires and it made Laura curious about what happened to her. she chuckled and closed the book say that vampires weren't real. Looking out the window at the back of the house, Laura noticed another fancy cabin a small distance from where she was. It was well kept as well, but it seemed no-one had been there for a while. After Laura made herself dinner, she heard a vehicle approaching the area. The vehicle passed the cabin so she shrugged it off. When she was cleaning the dishes, she noticed the vehicle at the cabin a small distance from her family's. A bath and bed were calling Laura's name after such a tasty dinner. Not being able to sleep, Laura decided to go for a walk, she walked right over to the other cabin. She could see through the window, a tall man with a black wing tattoo on his back. When the man turned to the side, she was shocked. DOCTOR ANGEL!!!?
