Laura woke up to a sharp headache one morning and Angel notice her wince. Angel asked, "Laura, what's wrong". Laura snapped, "NOTHING! DON'T TOUCH ME"! Angel was confused at this and began to follow her around. Laura had never snapped at him before. angel told Laura they should visit the emergency room to make sure she wasn't relapsing from her previous injury. Laura agreed because she didn't want to risk losing her memory again. When they arrived, Angel was greeted by a charge nurse. Angel gave specific orders on what care he needed Laura to receive. soon, a lab tech came to draw blood. After about a half hour had passed, a knock was heard and doctor Withers entered. "Hi Laura, I'm doctor Withers. Congratulations on being 3 months pregnant. You appear to be conceiving twins"! Laura and angel both looked liked they had seen ghosts. "PREGNANT??? TWINS"! Laura exclaimed. Angel's mind began to race. "Can vampires and humans conceive"?, Angel thought. "It was thought to be impossible since I'm literally a dead person. How"? Angel snapped back to reality when he heard Laura crying. " I just got my memories back, what if something happens and I forget I have babies"? Angel knew that the babies would likely protect their mothers from the inside of her womb. Although, they couldn't see normal doctors from here on out. Laura's stomach will be growing at a rapid rate and people would get suspicious. So angel but in a leave of absence at work to "Tend" to Laura's pregnancy, and said they'd be going to his home town for her to receive care while he was away. As they were leaving, Laura was contemplating on how to tell her parents. They would be thrilled about grandchildren, but they don't know they're hybrid human and vampire children. Speaking of..... " Angel, since when can vampires and humans conceive children "? Angel's unease was evident. "I'm not sure dear, but that's why we're going to my home, to understand this life altering event better". Laura nodded and they were headed thousands of miles from her home.
