Laura was in a great shock until she saw the expression on Angel's face. She calmed down slowly and tried to figure out a way to console Angel. Angel stood and stormed out before anyone could speak. "I'm a hybrid who is almost 70 years old with a tainted memory"? Angel could barely contain his frustrations. "I think I'd better go to his side", said Laura. "No. We need to have a talk". said Meredith. "Are you after my son's inheritance? I never want him with a woman after his money". "Until today, I never knew he was anything more than a vampire who is a doctor. I love Angel for the person he is. No amount of money could replace how much love I have for him and our unborn children". Silence seeped into the room. "I don't believe you, but you're the only woman that my son has ever brought home, or dated for that matter. I'm going to call upon the witch to remove the spell for Michael, I want him to Remember. I fear the time he needs his memory has quickly fallen upon us". Laura was at a loss for words, but she agreed that this was the best course of action for Angel. Laura walked out the way she saw Angel go and she was taken aback at the beautiful 28 acres of land and the beautiful garden. There was not one blade of grass unattended to nor a tree or bush that hadn't been pruned to perfection. Finally, she spotted Angel in the garden underneath the pavilion. He appeared to be in deep thought when he looked up in Laura's direction. "Angel, dear, are you ok? I know that was a lot to take in and you need time, but I got quite worried". I'm fine Laura. There's just still a lot of questions that need answers". Laura sighed and embraced Angel, but to Laura's surprise, Angel quickly pushed her away.
