Chapter 23 – The Garbage Facility
The garbage processing plant was a sprawling place full of pipes and chimneys and incinerators and conveyors and all sorts of other machinery. It was an impressive facility. The whole place was surrounded by a fence topped with old-fashioned barbed wire. A road ran along the fence, separating the facility's property from the warehouses and factories on the other side. Dale and Eliza were in an alley between a factory and a warehouse. They crouched behind a dumpster and surveyed the garbage facility.
