Hang on...” She began tossing out all sorts of clutter—stuff purposely put in there earlier. A motorist somewhere to the rear honked his horn. “Hurry up,” the guard said. “We haven't got all day.” He turned to the growing line of cars waiting to get into AmSec. He shook his head and scowled. Annora noticed he was distracted and seized the opportunity. She pulled the pistol out of the glove box, twisted around quickly, and fired from the hip.
