Love in the Times of Whisper - Episode 1 INT. COFFEE SHOP - DAY The camera pans over a crowded coffee shop. A young woman named JESSICA (25) enters the shop and approaches the counter. She orders a coffee and finds a quiet table in the corner to sit down. JESSICA (to herself): Another day, another coffee. I really need to get out of this rut. Just then, a handsome young man named DREW (27) enters the coffee shop. He approaches Jessica's table and introduces himself. DREW: Excuse me, do you mind if I sit here? All the other tables are taken. JESSICA (surprised): Uh, no. Go ahead. Drew takes a seat and the two strike up a conversation. They talk about their jobs, interests, and favorite places in the city. As the conversation continues, they both realize that they have a lot in common. DREW: You know, I've been coming to this coffee shop for years and I've never seen you here before. JESSICA (smiling): Yeah, I just started coming here. I needed a change of scenery. DREW: Well, I'm glad you found this place. The two continue to chat, and before they know it, hours have passed. As they get up to leave, Drew asks Jessica for her number. DREW: I was hoping we could continue this conversation. Maybe over dinner sometime? JESSICA (smiling): I'd like that. The two exchange numbers and go their separate ways. Fade to black.
