While Sia chattered excitedly about prom dresses and college plans with her friends, Sira's gaze drifted off, her thoughts preoccupied with the uncertain path ahead, her only constant being Selena, the one friend who truly understood her." Sira shook her head, her eyes scanning the hallway for Selena. 'I'll catch up with you later, I'll meet Selena and we can discuss...some things.' Sia raised an eyebrow, intrigued by the hint of secrecy, but nodded and headed off to join her friends, leaving Sira to find Selena amidst the sea of relieved students. Sira spotted Selena in the cafeteria, Selena's face lit up with a warm smile, and she waved enthusiastically. Sira made her way over, and they grabbed a quiet corner table. 'So, prom night,' Selena said, her eyes sparkling. 'Are you getting excited?' Sira's expression was hesitant, her voice barely above a whisper. 'Honestly, I'm not sure I fit in with all the glitz and glamour. It's just not really my thing.' Selena's brow furrowed in understanding, and she leaned in, her voice conspiratorial. 'What do you mean? You're not going to slay prom night!" Sira took a deep breath, letting her words spill out in a rush. "Selina, I'm just not like Sia. I don't love parties, I'm an introvert, and I don't have the clothes for it. And you know I don't like doing all those girly stuff like that it doesn't suit my aura, I dress in a way that feels comfortable for me, not glamorous." Selena listened attentively, her expression understanding. "Prom is a big deal, I know," Sira continued. "But it's just not my scene. I'm more about books and academics. Sia's the one who's always been into modeling and fashion, she's got the looks and the personality for it. She's also planning on going to a fashion college, and she's been preparing for it her whole life." Sira's voice dropped to a whisper. "Meanwhile, I'm going to study business, something practical. We're just really different, you know?" Selena nodded thoughtfully. "I get it, Sira. You're one of the top students in our class, always focused on your studies. You're driven and disciplined. Sia, on the other hand,is more...outgoing. She's always been into modeling and fashion, and it shows. But that doesn't mean you can't be yourself at prom. Maybe you can find a way to make it work for you, even if it's not exactly your thing." Sira nodded thoughtfully, taking Selina's words to heart. "You know, I think I understand what you're saying. I don't have to be defined by my sister's shadow." Selina smiled, relieved that Sira was open to her perspective. Sira took a deep breath and continued, "But now that I've decided to go to prom, I'm totally clueless about what to wear. I don't even know where to start." Selina's face lit up with excitement. "Don't worry, I'm here to help! We have two days to find the perfect outfit. Let's go shopping this weekend and find something that makes you feel amazing." Sira hesitated for a moment before nodding. "Okay, let's do it. But we need to go now, it's almost weekend and I don't want to be stressed out on the last minute." Selina laughed and stood up, pulling Sira along with her. "Come on, let's go find you a dress that will make you shine!".
