Chapter 10

"Kimayu!" She turns around to see her best friends that she miss the most; she runs and engulfs them in a big hug, which they return.

"Momi, Kaya. I miss you both! How are you guys?"

"We're fine. It must be hard when you're a part of the 12 families, huh?" Kaya asks while Kimayu just laughs awkwardly.

"Ne, Mayu. Can you tell us who really is your boyfriend? Ikaru-san or Miya-san?" Momi ask. The question makes Kimayu's face goes red.

"What makes you ask that kind of question?!" she looks away, blushing. 

If really those two are courting her and they'll make her choose only one. Of course, she will choose Shiseki. But by what's happening right now, that was beyond possible.

"Well, in your week of absence, we got some news that someone sees you with Ikaru-san several times. And there's this group of girls saying that they see you with Miya-san, and when they approach him. He said that you and he were on a date, so don't bother both of you. That's why I'm asking you this, who is your real boyfriend between the two?"

"What are you talking about, Momi! They are just my friends! And besides, if one of them is my boyfriend, dad will kill them!" Kimayu said blush, evident on her face.

"Yeah, you're right. But... Are you sure?" Kaya asks, which causes Kimayu to blush more. 

The two of them continue to tease Kimayu until they heard a cough; they turn around to find the source to see a girl. A girl with a long strawberry blond hair tie in a ponytail with red eyeglasses, Kimayu thought that she was kinda similar to Shiseki's girlfriend.

"Wakasa Kimayu-san, right?" she asks with a smile.

"Umm...yes?"

"Can I talk to you for a minute?" Kimayu nod hesitation can be seen on her face.

"Is the rooftop is okay with you?"

"Umm...yeah, I think it's fine!"

"Let's go?" she said as she left the way. Kimayu swears she saw a glimpse of Sumaru Shima in the corner of her eye.

"You may not know me but your friend Shiseki knows me..." she said as she takes off her eyeglasses and unties her hair, she ruffles it to make it look like a natural messy hairstyle. At that moment, Kimayu confirms that this girl is indeed Shiseki's girlfriend. She really is beautiful and more attractive than her.

"Oh, I forgot to introduce myself, sorry! My name is Haru Hikari, feel free to call me by my first name Wakasa-san!" she said as she bows making Kimayu feel uncomfortable.

"Kimayu is fine! Why do you want to talk to me, Hikari-san?"

"Because of my childhood friend... Shiseki. Did the two of you had an argument? Ever since last week, he's out of himself. I mean, ever since you move to the Shima house. He's been like that. What happened?" 

Kimayu's eyes got widen; she got it all wrong. They're just friends and not a couple; how stupid of her not to notice it. Nevertheless, she tried to remember what happened.

"Umm...I'm sorry, Hikari-san. I couldn't help you find the answer because I actually don't know myself. Actually... He was the one who said that I'll be leaving the Ikaru house to go move to the Shima house; he didn't even tell me the reason why..."

"Thank you for informing me Kimayu-san, it seems like your boyfriend is here to pick you up!"

"Boyfriend?" Kimayu ask. 

Hikari points something behind her. Kimayu turns to look at her back to see Tenba's arms cross to his chest with an irritated face.

"No, he's not my boyfriend!"

"If you say so, I'll go now bye, Kimayu-san!" when Hikari was already gone, Kimayu looks at Tenba, confuse about how did he know where is she at.

"How did you know that I'm here?"

"I ask your friends, let's go! I'm going to show you something!" he said as he holds Kimayu's hand.

"Umm...okay, let's go!"

Hikari is walking to the meeting place that they've been agreed to when she reached the place there sitting Sumaru drinking tea with Danro eating bread crumbs.

"Sumaru-sama!"

"Oh, there you are. Hikaru!"

"Its Hikari, Sumaru-sama..."

"Well, they have the same meaning, so I think that's fine. Right, Danro?"

"So what information you got?"

"We're right! The one who has a problem is Shiseki!"

"Him?"

"Not only him..." she wasn't sure if she should say it. The time she's talking to Kimayu and Tenba suddenly appear...

"Hikari?"

"Umm... Miya Tenba... It seems like he like Kimayu as well. I think that's the reason why Shiseki is ignoring Kimayu for the past week! Because maybe he knew that Tenba likes her!"

"I see..."

"And when I'm still talking to Kimayu, and he suddenly came up, he looks me in the eye. His eyes look like it saying that I should know my place! What does it mean Sumaru-sama?"

"Hmm..."

"The Miya family will do anything to get their future partner, and aren't you fully aware of that rule? Anyways you're right, Hikari...we have another problem other than Shiseki. Our big problem is Miya Tenba. We need to make him stay away to Kimayu, so Shiseki can have his way..." Sumaru said as she opens her eyes, looking at the teacup she was holding.

"Sumaru-sama, why are you dedicated so much to make Kimayu-san and Shiseki a couple?" Sumaru looks at her with a smile.

"Let's just say a little girl came to me asking for help after seeing her brother crying..."
