Chapter 15

It was a morning different than any other morning in Shivaay’s life, from the first second he opened his eyes he felt that wide smile on his lips and that tremendous happiness in his heart, he don't understand from where he have this pleasant emotions, he don't know why he feels so happy , it's as if his whole life changed while he was asleep and he opened his eyes on a better world .

He turned on the bed and opened his eyes faintly only to see Anika leaning on her hand with faint smile on her lips and looking at him, and in her hand a red rose that she smells and lost in its fragrance and in him!!

He opened his eyes fully and she kept looking at him with a faint smile and smelling the rose but as if she don't notice he got awaken and lost in her own world

Shivaay smiled widely and said: Good morning?

Anika eyes focused and she sat straight and the rose fall on his chest and he looked at her a bit amused then took the rose and smelled its fragrance as she blushed shyly

Anika: Good morning, Shivaay

Shivaay: something different, you feel it?

Anika put her hand on her chest as her heart was threatening her that it will jump out of her chest and expose her secret.

Anika: different in me?

Shivaay nodded and said: and in everything..Like there is something pleasant happened ... (then he smiled and said) and you never looked more beautiful

Anika smiled and said: yes, the bruises almost healed and..

Shivaay shook his head and said : no , it’s those eyes (then he touched her cheek and said) those beautiful eyes that looking at me , I never saw them look at me like that before

Anika closed her eyes with his hand touch and he shook his head

Shivaay : no , don't close them , please .

Anika opened them as he smiled and looked at her eyes for a moment and said ..

Shivaay : I can look at them all my life , just those eyes with that look ? What is that look ?

Anika looked at him then said shyly: its ...I mean..It’s..

But she stopped when the elevator opened and Priyanka came running and said ..

Priyanka : Shivaay bhai , what you did ? Papa asked me to tell you that he want you to come to him before even he have his breakfast , he want you right now ..Now

Shivaay : okay (then he looked at Anika and said) we need to put curtains to this room

Priyanka : you are worried about your privacy , my father will make from you a "Shivaay burger"

Shivaay : if you know why I am wrapped with this sheet , You won’t care as much with the Shivaay burger !!

Anika eyes widen and looked at the sheet he is wrapping his waist with since the day before and covered Priyanka’s eyes and pulled her as Priyanka said .

Priyanka : what ? What he means ?

Anika opened the elevator as Shivaay held on the sheet and smelled the rose then before the elevator closes he sent her a kiss in the air and Anika closed her eyes and put her hand on her chest and said ..

Anika: oh god, I am in deep trouble

Then she sat on the floor of the elevator and said ..

Anika : Piku , I am in love , I am so deep in love ..I need to talk with you

Priyanka eyes widen and stopped the elevator and said ..

Priyanka : in love with whom ?

Anika looked at her stunned then said ..

Anika: I am not cheating on your brother , Piku...(then she frowned and said) of course it with your brother , who else !!

Priyanka nodded and said : so you love your husband (then she bit her thumb nail and said) that is a big problem , why?

Anika : and what is the problem in that ?

Priyanka : so what are we talking about exactly because I am not following ..You love my brother and ..!!!!

Anika : I want to confess that but I am so scared I can’t ..I just can’t , when I look at his eyes I feel so nervous .

Priyanka : you didn't tell him you love him till now ? Then why you got married in the first place ?

Anika smiled faintly and said :it’s ...a bit complicated Piku

Priyanka sat beside her and patted on her hand and said ..

Priyanka : I am not stupid Bhabhi , I understand ..You suffered so much with your brother and you wanted to be saved , but I promise you I will make it up to you

Anika chuckled faintly and said : you will make it up to me ? And what is your fault ?

Priyanka shook her head and said : nothing , it’s because I love you Bhabhi

Anika smiled widely and pulled her to her arm and said ..

Anika : I love you too Piku , god knows I feel you are my sister not Shivaay’s

Priyanka smiled and said : no , you love Shivaay bhai and we have to do something about that (then she smiled widely and said)oh I know , take a deep breath , close your eyes and scream " I love you" to him..Then you won’t be scared like that

Anika smiled and said : that is English , right ?

Priyanka nodded and said : yes " I love you "

Anika smiled widely and said : " I love you"

Priyanka screamed :I LOVE YOU

Anika screamed : I L....

Suddenly the elevator opened and Shivaay looked at them as both flinched and Shivaay raised an eyebrow..

Shivaay : you know that it is still the 3rd floor , right ?

Both Anika and Priyanka nodded yes hard as he entered the elevator with them and both looked in front of them with wide eyes as he looked at them confused .

Shivaay : what happened to you both ?

Anika and Priyanka in the same time :NOTHING

Shivaay covered his ears and said :why you are screaming ? I am not deaf

Both Anika and Priyanka looked at each other and chuckled faintly as Shivaay said ..

Shivaay : I wonder what Mr. Shakti want from me ?

Priyanka : no matter what he do to you, don't run away .....

Then she suddenly pulled Anika and put her arm over her neck and said ..

Priyanka : we have your wife

Anika looked at her with wide eyes then chuckled as Priyanka frowned to her and Anika smile vanished and looked at Shivaay and said ..

Anika : she is serious , Shivaay

Shivaay rolled his eyes and pushed her hand away from Anika and the elevator opened as Shivaay and the girls went towards the dinner table where Shakti was sitting and waiting and on his side Nanny and Ragini , Priyanka ran to take her seat but Shivaay stopped and closed his eyes and sigh

Shivaay: that will be my last pleasant moment in this beautiful day

Anika smiled to him and held his hand but when she saw Nanny looking at them she hugged his arm and put her head on it and Shivaay looked at her with wide smile and said ..

Shivaay : maybe it’s not my last , thanks to you

Anika smiled as both took their seats as Anika sat between Shakti and Shivaay .

Anika : good morning papa

Shakti smiled and kissed her head as Ragini fumed and she said ..

Ragini in English: papa , I want to tell you...

Shakti closed his eyes and stopped her with his hand then looked at her and said ..

Shakti : Ragini , there is two things wrong in this sentence you said , the first is that it’s in English which I said not allowed to be spoken in the mansion anymore , the second is ...(then he took a deep breath and said)you won’t call me papa anymore

, its not appropriate , I have a daughter in law now

Shivaay couldn't help the happy laugh with the words as both Nanny and Priyanka looked shocked at Ragini who her eyes widen and looked down stunned as Anika wasn't really that surprised , she felt their conversation the day before , meant something for both of them

Ragini : I am sorry , I am done with the breakfast

And she got off the table and walked away as Shakti took a moment looking at Shivaay then he too got off the breakfast table and said

Shakti : Shivaay ? When you are done with your breakfast , come to my office room , we should talk

Shivaay nodded as Shakti went from there and Anika smiled faintly then filled a spoon with honey and said ..

Anika : Shivaay , you should take a spoon of honey before the breakfast , the doctor said you should eat well

Nanny : Anika dear , you are his wife , you should know his likes and dislikes ..Shivaay hates the honey , especially straight from a spoon

Anika looked at her and smiled faintly then looked at Shivaay who nodded faintly to her and she pouted and took part of the spoon , then smiled to Shivaay and said ..

Anika : how about now ? Shivaay , you still don't like honey ?

Shivaay smiled and looked at the half filled spoon that she just tasted and for Nanny Surprise he opened his mouth wide and she smiled widely and put the spoon in his mouth and he closed his eyes hard as he taste the honey

And she smiled and wiped a drop of the honey with her finger from over his lips , then looked down and licked the drop of the honey off her finger and Shivaay smiled widely seeing that as Nanny stood angrily and said ..

Nanny : I will go for some air.

Anika : AUNTY WAIT!!

Nanny stopped as Anika went towards her with another spoon filled with honey and said ..

Anika : from my village traditions that the daughter in law should offer food with her hand to her mother in law and since you are like Shivaay 's mother I should offer you the food

Nanny looked at her with raised eyebrow as Shivaay turned and seeing Nanny looking at Anika like that and not taking the honey , he frowned and said

Shivaay : Nanny? Is everything okay?

Nanny looked at Shivaay then smiled and nodded and opened her lips to Anika who smiled widely as she giving her the honey as an innocent gesture, but what Nanny was thinking was that this girl is not innocent at all , she is sending a message to her in everything , she literally putting the bitter poison in the sweet honey and she have to take it .

Nanny took the honey off the spoon and swallowed as Anika smiled to her and said ..

Anika : now I have to hug you

And she hugged her as Shivaay smiled widely and Nanny whispered ..

Nanny : I know what you are doing , village girl ..You are not fooling me

Anika whispered : I am just being a good wife and daughter to my family, which I am not willing to give up no matter what …the question is , what were you trying to do by our conversation in the elevator , Nanny ?

Nanny broke the hug and looked at her for a moment then walked away angrily as Anika smiled to Shivaay who smiled to her ..

Shivaay: Anika , come finish your breakfast ..I will go see what Mr. Shakti want from me

Anika nodded and sat on the table and looked at Priyanka who was looking at her and said ..

Priyanka : what is happening in this house ?

Anika : don't worry Piku ..Whatever is happening is for the best ..I learned that the hard way

Priyanka looked at her sadly as Anika smiled to her kindly and nodded

Meanwhile ...

Nanny entered her room and sat on the bed fuming , but for her surprise her room opened wide and Ragini entered then showed her a small bottle and the moment Nanny saw the bottle she flinched and cringed .

Nanny : NO , RAGINI , NO

Ragini : of course no , I am not crazy to do the trick twice , its empty , it’s just a good memory ..Do you remember that beautiful day ?

Nanny held her head and said : stop that

Ragini sarcastically : oh you forgot , okay , I will remind you , it's the bottle of the drug you spiked Shivaay’s drink with before he came to meet me , so he can fall unconscious on my bed and don't remember what happened and believe he raped me , the problem was what , Ragini ? Was what ? oh yes , you put one drop instead of two , so it was enough for him to be confused but not totally disoriented...so , Nanny ..When you decide to kill your conscience , kill it all , not just half ...because in either ways if Shivaay knew he will literally kill you or worse , he will hate you ..I know it’s worse for you

Nanny : you don't have to blackmail me , I will make the girl go because that is the best for Shivaay my son , not because I am scared from you (then she shook her head and said) but I regret agreeing on that plan five years ago , because I don't think you are the best for Shivaay anymore

Ragini nodded and said : okay because I am desperate here and you don't want me desperate believe me ..I go crazy when I am desperate (then she added in scary tone) and I am the best for Shivaay

And she put the bottle in her pocket and went out of the room

Meanwhile ..

Shivaay entered the office room and stood in front of Shakti who was reading a book

Shivaay : sir ?

Shakti : sit down Shivaay

Shivaay sat down as Shakti left the book and took off his reading glasses and said ..

Shakti : Shivaay ..I talked with Anika yesterday and what she said was really a scolding to anyone who stood against you

Shivaay stood again and said

Shivaay : I will just take her and leave , you don't need to be bothered with us

Shakti chuckled and said : you are a hot head like your father , sit ..I am not done with you yet

Shivaay sat slowly while trying to figure out Shakti’s reason for the conversation as Shakti said ...

Shakti : I just want to say ,your wife really believes in you and ...

Shakti took a deep breath and said ..

Shakti : about that day ..(Then he closed his eyes and said )I should have trusted your words more than that , you are my son , no matter what I should have gave you the right to talk and defend yourself , I didn't give you a choice but to run away

But for his surprise Shivaay stood back and walked towards him and hugged him tight and Shakti closed his eyes hard and hugged him back

Shakti : oh my son , my son (then he smiled and said) I didn't even say I believe you , I just said you had the right to defend yourself

Shivaay closed his eyes hard and said : that is good enough for me now , sir..Thank you

Shakti smiled faintly as Shivaay broke the hug and said

Shivaay : but I still won’t try to prove it ..Because I have ..

Shakti : great ego and a very hot stubborn head..I know

Shivaay : dignity ,sir

Shakti smiled and shook his head and said : stubborn just like your father

Shivaay nodded and was about to go but Shakti said ..

Shakti : Shivaay, the day you will take the right I just gave you to defend yourself , like I punished you in front of the whole family , I will bring back your right in front of the whole family

Shivaay stopped and took a deep breath trying to imagine how good that day will be , to have his pride and his right back in front of everyone who watch his humiliation and this injustice that happened to him .

Shivaay : may I be excused sir ?

Shakti : yes you may

Shivaay nodded to him and left as Shakti smiled widely and nodded ..

After minutes ..

Anika was walking in the room forward and backward and talking to herself

Anika : Shivaay , I think I love you ....NO …I think I love you ,Shivaay ….hey Shivaay turned out that I love you ...(then she held her head and said) oh I am going mad

The elevator opened and Anika froze as Shivaay came running to her and hugged her tight

Shivaay : I love you Anika

Anika whispered : it’s easy for you to say

Shivaay looked at her and said : what ?

She shook her head as he held her face and said ..

Shivaay : whatever you told Mr. Shakti gave me so much peace , he is doubting her words now ..Not totally believe me because she had a pretty solid case and she seems the weaker but at least now he doubts her .

Anika nodded and said : Shivaay I think he believe you , he just want to calm his conscience by a prove and we will prove you are innocent Shivaay , I promise you

Shivaay looked at her and shook his head and said : I will ask you a question you asked me before , Anika (then he smiled and said) why are you so kind to me ?

Anika held her breath and then she nodded ..

Anika : okay , okay ..I will answer you , just drink this juice , till I ask Priyanka about something in English that I forgot

And she gave him a glass of mango juice as he smiled and said ..

Shivaay : English? You will answer me in English ?

Anika nodded and ran to the elevator as he chuckled and took a sip of the juice but after a minute or two a pair of hands covered his eyes and said in English

" Guess who ?"

Shivaay chuckled and held the hands away from his eyes but then flinched as if he saw a snake and it was someone just like it

Shivaay : Ragini , go from here (then he shook his head and said) I should make a password to the stupid 3rd floor button

Ragini : Shivaay , I think you should give me a chance to defend myself and talk (then she shook her head and said) I did that because I loved you

Shivaay: loved me ..God , if you loved me even for a second in your life you wouldn't do that to me ..GET OUT RAGINI..I KNOW YOU CAME HERE BECAUSE YOU ARE FEELING INSECURE OF YOUR PLACE IN MY FAMILY, and you are right ,so soon you will go out of here ,believe me

Ragini frowned and said :we will talk later Shivaay

Shivaay : dare to come to here again , if you come ,I will show you what I will do

Ragini looked at him stunned as he pushed her towards the elevator

Shivaay : GET OUT ..OUT

She rode the elevator as Shivaay frowned and took another sip from the juice but after a minute the elevator opened again and he clutched on his glass angrily as he heard in English

" Shivaay , I...."

He frowned and turned and swayed the glass and all its juice got over the girl’s face who gasped as the juice covered her face and dress as Shivaay frown turned to shocked expression .

Shivaay: Anika , I am sorry ...I thought you are…., I am so sorry

Anika wiped her face from the juice and said ...

Anika : it’s okay ,I assume you don't like mango juice too

Shivaay held his chuckle as she smiled and said ..

Anika : you think it’s funny ? ha ?

And she ran towards him and hugged him and wiped her face in his shirt as both chuckled and fall on the bed and looked at each other for a moment then she said ..

Anika : I will go take a bath in the bathroom in Priyanka 's room and you take it here ..Then we will go out

Shivaay : where ?

Anika : some place nice ...on my treat

Shivaay nodded and went to the bathroom as she leaned on the bed and looked at her hand that was written on it the word ( love ) in English

Meanwhile

Ragini ran towards Nanny Room and knocked hard and Nanny opened the door .,

Ragini terrified : the bottle ..I can’t find it

Nanny eyes widen as Ragini sat shocked on the bed and said ..

Ragini : if someone found it ..I am dead .

Nanny terrified : we will find it , we will ..We have to

AFTER an hour ..

Anika came out of the elevator wearing the blue dress Shivaay bought for her from the village and looked at him as he was wearing his jacket and tie ..

Shivaay : I will be ready in ...

Anika approached near him and took the tie off and said ..

Anika : let’s go , you are ready

Shivaay chuckled and nodded as she held his hand and they were about to get in the elevator but then she noticed a small bottle on the floor ,so she picked it up and opened the bottle and smell it and gagged from the strong smell .

Anika :whose bottle is this ?

Shivaay : it’s not mine

Anika looked at it then put it her bag , then got in the elevator with Shivaay

Shivaay : so where are you taking me ?

After minutes ..

Shivaay held his breath as the taxi parked in front of their small house , how he miss everything about this house , every single part in it saw his love and even his pain , here is part of him

He looked at Anika with wide smile as she held his hand and said ..

Anika : the devils are in the hospital , so we can have our house back for tonight

Shivaay: good thing I didn't sell it

Anika : never sell it , it’s our house

Shivaay smiled as Anika opened the light and looked at the wall with the name" Anika "

Anika : Shivaay can I ask you something ?

Shivaay : anything

Anika : close your eyes

Shivaay without asking closed his eyes as he heard the paint box getting open and he smelled the smell of the fresh paint and after minute he felt Anika’s hands on his shoulder guiding his direction

Anika : okay open

Shivaay opened his eyes on the wall written on it "Anika" but there was more written and he read it .

Shivaay: "ANIKA LOF SHIVAY"

Anika eyes widen and read the word " love " on her hand and covered her face ..

Anika : NO , I wrote it wrong , I am sorry , I painted with my hand , Priyanka wrote it on my right hand and....

Shivaay looked at her with wide eyes and said : you love me ?

Anika swallowed and said : yes I meant to write " love " instead of " lof "

Shivaay chuckled happily and looked at the wall feeling he will hug it , for him it was more than perfect ..It was his Anika

Shivaay: say it

Anika swallowed and said : I love you so much , I said that the first time when you were sleeping , maybe that is why you felt different when you wake up , but then I felt I want to tell you here , where our love blossomed ..In your house

Shivaay laughed happily and hugged her and twirled with her as she chuckled feeling his happiness

Shivaay : YOU " LOF " ME , ANIKA ..YOU " LOF " ME

Anika chuckled and said :YES , YES ..I LOVE YOU , SHIVAAY..I LOVE YOU
