The moment Gideon fell asleep I realized why he hadn’t dared slept in days. Nightmares plagued him. His brows were knitted tightly and sweat broke out on his forehead as he kept mumbling words I could not understand. My heart broke into a thousand pieces seeing him like that. He was just beginning to get over one trauma only for this to happen. How was he ever going to heal from this? Tears sprang to my eyes but I forced them back and just hugged Gideon.
