I stood there looking at the mirror, it was my only companion, I could talk about all my problems with it and not be scared, I sighed for the upteenth time, I never thought getting married to master Julian would be so soon, it felt like a dream, I am really going to be married, be a wife to a ruthless monster, I held up my wedding dress it looked too big for me, dad had given it to me yesterday with a pair of shoes the best I ever owned , I didn’t even get the chance to chose my own wedding dress, I turned back to the mirror sobbing this was supposed to be my happiest day, but it felt like I was been sentenced for execution, I wore the gown and packed my hair in a ponytail, in a few minutes I’ll be walking down the aisle to be married. I sat down waiting with anxiety when dad came in

“Let’s not keep everyone waiting”he said

Wasn’t he going to wish me well even today, was that how he hated me, I am also his daughter the eldest for goodness sake, I walked over to him wanting to ask him all the questions I had in mind

“Dad why do you hate me so much”i said holding back my tears

He took my hand, walking down the stairs we went downstairs and got into his car, he drove us down to the church, I looked at the building, this is where I’ll be taking my vows with master Julian, where my life will take a new beginning, I sighed wondering what awaits me in marriage, dad came down he opened the passengers door and I came out, he took my hands and we went into the church, dad walked me slowly to the alter where master Julian stood looking at me with those piercing eyes, in few moments I was right there before him, he gazed into my eyes as the priest asked us to say our vows, It was his turn to say the vows

We were declared husband and wife, in the presence of family and friends.soon we were at the reception, I saw my stepmom and sister looked at me with so much hatred, I knew Anna really wished to be in this position but I wasn’t going to give them the joy of seeing me sad, I smiled and looked at my husband just to make them feel bad, at least I could make them angry by showing them I was married to the most handsome and powerful man in the state
