"Hey i am nate nice to meet you"

I nodded and looked away trying to make it not so weird and awkward. My social talking skills were a mess with girls but with guys I can't utter a single word. Especially the ones which were good looking. He wasn't as good looking as alex but he still was kinda good looking. Ahhhhh what am I even thinking about. He bent his head a little to look at me.

"What is your name?"

"jenny"I told him extending my hand for him to shake

"hi partner" he said taking my hand and shaking it. I frowned. He called me partner. Why ?? "the teacher assigned me this seat" I nodded and got back to my work events with Alex from earlier still in my mind.

After some time I realized I forgot to bring my art kit. What should I do? Should I ask him? Sir will surely scold me if I don't do something quick. Why is it so hard talking to people? I am for sure an alien.

"Umm...excuse me?"

"You can call me Nate"

"Yeah Nate, can I use your art kit? I forgot to bring mine."

"Yeah sure" he said with a sweet smile on his face. He had dark brown hairs which were little messy. His eyes were dark brown as well.

"Actually I have an extra"

"Extra? So you have two art kits? Cool!"

"What's so cool?"

"I don't see people going around with extra at kits. Do you?"

He chuckled at my response. He is so comfortable to be around.

"Umm...Nate do you have stapler?"

"Yes I have everything you will ever need"

"Really? Everything? How about tissue papers?" with that he took out an unopened pack of tissue out of his backpack.

"What else do you have in there?"

"Everything you will ever need"

By the end of the class I was really comfortable talking with Nate it   was really easy to talk to him . It felt like I've known him for years although I just met him a few hours ago

During lunch,Nate even insisted to sit with me and Millie in the lunch. All of us had lunch together and all that while I felt someone's gaze on me ,it was Alex, I wondered why was he staring at me or more like glaring at me I didn't do anything wrong,did I ?

I decided to let it slide for a while and enjoy eating lunch with my new friend. Millie was also really good to me after that incident,felt like she changed she was no more conveying messages for Alex instead we were having our own conversations, it was pretty fun with her.

During our art class and nate was also assigned my partner for the upcoming project which was that we had to go around for a month or something find places which can inspire us and draw them pictures in a beautiful manner. Nate said that he can borrow his brothers car Or can ask his brother to drive us to places I agreed to him to do that since my mom will be too busy to actually take us anywhere. I think this project will be really fun because everything is really fun when it consist of art and going to places.

It was now and of my classes i'm really tired all I want to do is go home have my dinner and sleep I don't even want to help mom in daily chores  today I just want to sleep or maybe I can even have a really nice warm Bath that can help calm my muscles and probably relieve me from my exhaustion .

The whole day Alex hadn't talk to me I think that's the reason might be nate because last time I talk to a guy he got pretty angry all that wasn't really my fault he was assigned to be my partner by the teacher I didn't pick him today or anyways I can make friends. 

He can get really possessive sometimes

I was exiting the school building and Alex comes in front of me he was wearing his black T-shirt with a gray hoodie jacket and jeans with some sneakers his hair was messy but at the same time it looked like he has spent hours keeping them in place

"Are you free.....like after this"he asked 

"I was just heading home,why?"

"I need you to come somewhere with me"

"And where is that"

"Somewhere special just trust me and come"

"OK"

Then he led me to his car and open the gate for me I settled in he close the gate went to his side started the car and we drove off to Hillside type of place.

It was a beautiful place.I always like hill stations and mountains and snow,winter and everything and this place almost consisted of all of them .he said special. I think this place might also be special to him. it is special to me my mom and dad always bring me here when I'm feeling down or something bad happens to me.

We drove in a very comfortable silent just the sound of the songs playing from the radio,silent sounds of birds and the trees .it was the most beautiful moment I have ever had with Alex .I didn't knew he liked nature so much I didn't take him for a nature loving type of person .I think or I thought that he might be spending his time in his room playing games or I don't know. I never thought that he might be taking me somewhere here saying it's a special.

He stopped the car I stepped out of it and what I saw there left me spellbound . There was this big tree near that there was a table and there was also a path decorated with candles and roses which was leading to the tree . Alex gestured me to start walking in that direction and I did what he said I started walking on that rose petal covered path which had candles on its side . I reached the table. On the table there was a small box. by now Alex was just behind me he told me to open the box and when I open the box there was a small beautiful sunflower pendant in that. I was looking at it astonished when Alex slowly took it from my hand and put it on my neck. There was also a small note inside and  it read

"Will you be my girlfriend??"
