The legends speak of Ash, a city of unparalleled magic and power, now buried beneath centuries of silence and dust. They say no one who enters ever returns, that its ancient streets whisper secrets only the dead can hear. For generations, it has stood as a monument to a forgotten age, a chilling testament to a cataclysm that erased an empire. But for Lyra, the whispers are growing louder. Driven by a desperate need to find answers to a spreading blight that threatens her people, she must venture into the cursed ruins. Armed with a staff that hums with stolen magic and a belief that not all hope is lost, Lyra seeks the heart of the Silent City. What dark truths lie hidden beneath the ash? What price must be paid for knowledge lost to time? And can one lone seeker rekindle the dying embers of a forgotten world, or will she too be claimed by the eternal silence of Ash?

Episode 1 Title: The Last Ember
The blight, known only as the Quiet Rot, had finally claimed the great oak in the village square—a grim testament to a decay no healer could stop. For a decade, Lyra had watched it creep across the known world, silencing the land and its people, driving them to desperation. Tonight, as the twin moons cast long, cold shadows over the meager campfires, Lyra knew the time for waiting was over. She held the staff, Thistle-Spine, its ancient crystal head humming a faint, defiant blue against the surrounding darkness. It was the last known focus of untainted magic, passed down through her forgotten line, and it was nearly spent. Her quest, dismissed as madness by the fearful elders, was the only remaining hope: she had to seek the source of the rot, which legends pinpointed beneath the sands covering the ruins of Ash. Lyra slipped past the sentries, the heavy silence of the night broken only by the crunch of her boots on the hard-packed earth. The journey would be long, through the desolate Cinder Wastes—a land scorched by the very calamity that swallowed Ash centuries ago. But the Silent City was drawing her forward, a broken, monolithic silhouette visible on the horizon, promising either the ultimate solution or the end of all things. Her own magic felt thin and frail, a single flicker of blue light in an ocean of encroaching shadow, but she pressed on, driven by the belief that a great power must still sleep within those cursed walls, waiting for one last soul brave enough to wake it.
