THE LAST SPARK OF LIGHT
Terry felt that his life was complete. He was a true definition of a salted fish. He worked from home, had a nanny to cater for his needs and his parents spoiled him rotten. In his life everything was perfect. A girl friend wasn't his priority because he had enough love to cover the void. Episode 1 "Mom, I will come visit you on Sunday ." Terry lazily drank his coffee as he spoke on the phone with his mom. His long legs were carelessly placed on the coffee table. He yawned with a hit of sleepiness making his eyes teary. This sound broke his mother's heart who was still on the phone call and she worriedly cautioned him. "Terry, I told you to stop over working yourself. If work is too hard come back home and let your Dad and me take care of you." "Mom, l will call after work." Terry hurriedly hung up the phone with a guilty face. He yawned remembering how he spent the night on his laptop. The coffee was cold by the time his phone call ended. He opened his laptop and received a text from his older brother, Roy. Ignoring it, he logged into his social media account reading through the author's last statement. Terry has a hobby of reading novels especially those written by Cayden Tresson. "Through it all" was Cayden's new novel and Terry was once again captivated by this writer. Another message from Roy popped up on his phone and he still ignored it. It's not that he hates his brother but Cayden had made a shocking announcement. Terry's eyes were fixed on the laptop like his soul had vanished.Tears of anger filled his catlike eyes. After 4 hours of ignoring his brother's calls, his doorbell rang.
