Chapter 41: SeedLittle points of bright, sizzling green light swirled before me. Everything was green, pulsing, vivid. I blinked, but it didn’t go away.
I swallowed, tasted dirt, swallowed again. More dirt.
I wasn’t in my bedroom, but on the couch downstairs, I didn’t remember leaving the room. A fresh wave of anxiety washed over me. After a quick check on Antonia and hearing her calm, even breathing, I made my way to the bathroom. Something was wet. Looking down, I was horrified at the spreading stain. I’d had a wet dream. Shedding my pants, I shoved them into the hamper and dug a pair of dirty sweats from the bottom and putting them on, tried to remember the dream.
