I would do anything to protect my dad. I was glad that Luciano was there with him but I hope that he had heard everything that I was saying. I could hear Luciano yelling at them and telling them that those motherfuckers are going to be f*****g sorry for what they did to me. Luciano asked to speak with the person who was in charge and I had no idea who he was but he just kept looking at me with this evil grin and the aura around him was unnerving. He got on the phone and he said well if it isn’t Luciano Romano and he said I thought all of your family was taken out? He said that he was shocked that there was a Romano left. Then the last person that I ever expected to see got on the phone and told this guy that obviously he left one Russo behind but that he would correct that mistake very soon. He said that if he hurts me anymore that he would be sorry. I was so conflicted with my emotions about all of this. That guy I heard that his name was Giovanni told Santo to come with Luciano and that he would make this a family reunion. Santo told him that he would be the only one coming and to leave Luciano out of this. Giovanni told him no that he will take out both heads of the family because he planned on taking over both families. Luciano told him that he would never take over what doesn’t belong to him and he said that he would be here very soon and be ready to f*****g die.

After they hung up the phone Giovanni told me that he was going to kill Santo for what he did to his family. I told him that he would die soon and that he would never get away. He looked at me and he said that you look so much like your mother and its too bad that you will never get to see her alive. I looked at him and I told him to go to hell and that he will meet his family soon. I told him to let me out and that I would be glad to give him that f*****g reunion now then later. Giovanni laughed at me and then he walked away.

 Just then Luciano and Santo walked in with guards pointing guns at them. When my eyes met with Luciano’s I was relieved. Pork chop was sitting behind me and Luciano told him that if he was him that he would knock that smile off his face or that he was going to knock it off for him. When my eyes met with Santo, I was shocked to see him again after all these years. Santo was quiet the whole time just looking at everything. I put my head down because I was conflicted with so many emotions and when Luciano called my name he asked if I was okay and I told him yeah and he said that he loves me and I told him that I love him too. He told me that he would get me out of this. Giovanni had come out of the office and he pulled a knife out on me and he said that they actually listened and he stood behind me and put it to my neck. I could feel him pressing hard and I felt a trickle of blood running down my neck. Santo said that if he wants to hurt anyone then to hurt him. He said that he would take my place and to please not hurt his little girl. I choked out a sob because I don’t want to lose anyone anymore. In that moment I forgave him because now I would not be alone anymore and I had parents again. Giovanni told pork chop to cut my lose and he said you have got to be f*****g kidding me and Giovanni said do it now or else. Pork chop uncuffed me and cut the ropes off my legs. For the first time in a long time I felt complete. I looked up at my dad and I told him to kill this motherfucker and please take me home. Luciano pulled me behind him and he took out throwing knives and one hit Giovanni’s hand and knocked the gun out of his hand. Luciano ran towards pork chop and he yelled at my dad and told him to get Giovanni and he started to beat him down. I beat Luciano to pork chop and we both got on him and Luciano told him that this is payback for what he did to Tony. Luciano held him down and I broke his legs and arms. Luciano came and helped me up and I looked at my dad and asked him if he was okay. I went to Luciano and I told him that I want to go and see Tony and he said that would be good. I kissed him and he told me that he was so scared and he thought that he would not see me again. He told me that he loves me so much and to never scare him like that again. I told him that I really want to go home and take a shower and he said okay and then we could go and see Tony after that. Luciano told my dad that he is going to take me home to get cleaned up and then we would head to the hospital. My dad said that he would meet us there and my dad looked like he didn’t want to leave me and I felt that same way. Luciano told my dad that I would be okay and that he was not going to leave my side and my dad looked at me and I told him that I will be fine dad. My dad’s eyes got watery and he told me that he can definitely get used to me calling him dad again. I looked up at him with tears in my eyes and I told him that I will always call you my daddy. My dad came to me and he picked me up in his arms and he told me that he would do anything for me and he called me his princess. I walked out of the room with Luciano and my dad told me that he knows that I am going through a difficult time but that he would like to handle his funeral arrangement for me and he wants to give him a proper burial in their family plot. I looked up at him and I told that I would appreciate that. Luciano brought me home and I went to lay down he asked me if I wanted anything to eat and I told him no that I just wanted to rest. He told me okay but that if I needed anything to let him know. I told him okay thank you he was turning around to walk out and I asked him where are you going and he said that he was going to go by his house and I told him please stay with me if you want too. The following day Luciano took me to the hotel where my dad and mom were staying. She started crying even more and she said that she would never let anyone take me from her ever again. My mom looked at Luciano and she went to him and hugged him and told him that it was so good to see him again and that she has missed him so much. My dad was still hugging me, and he told me that Luciano is a good man and he asked if I was happy with him and I told him yes that I am and that I love him so much. Luciano walked up to me and he pulled me towards him, and he said that he knows that we have not known each other long but that he wants no one else and that he wants to spend the rest of his life with me. I looked at him and I could feel my heart wanting to beat right out of my chest. He got down on one knee in front of my dad and my mom and he held my hand in his and he said Seraphina Moretti would you please do me the honor of becoming my wife and Queen. Tears were falling from my eyes and I told him YES, I will marry you. He said that this ring was his mother’s and he placed it on my finger. A week later my parents, Luciano, and I and my brothers flew to Naples, Italy along with Tony to lay him to rest. It was a difficult time for us, but I was so happy for everything he did for all of us. Tony was a special man who loved everyone, and he treated us like family. All this time I thought that I was alone but what I failed to realize was that I always had a family. I spent so many years being angry and now I look back and even though I should hate the people who took me away from my real parents, I can’t truly hate them because they did love me and provided for me. I don’t regret it and if I had to change anything I wouldn’t because I would never have met Luciano, my parents, Tony or my brothers. Everything happens for a reason. When we landed in Italy, I could not get over how beautiful everything is and when we were all picked up by black SUVs, we were taken to my parent’s family plot. Everything was set up so beautifully and I started to cry again. They allowed us to say something about Tony. I went up and I said that Tony was like a father to all of us and he was always there for anyone who needed someone. He was like a father and even though I was always angry he helped me to find ways of letting my anger in a way that would help me. I said that when we met, he knew how broken I was and how angry I was with everyone around me. I said that I hated being around people and all the guys could attest to that. Some of them laughed and I smiled, and I said that no matter what I was never alone. I told the guys that I am sorry for being a b***h to them but thank you for always being my bigger brothers and standing by me always. Tears started to fall from my eyes. They all got up and came around me and hugged me. I hugged them all back and I told them that I love them all.

Luciano got up next and he said that Tony was man that was strong, devoted and he was the pillar that held everyone together and he said that if it wasn’t for him he would have never met the love of his life and he also got to be a part of a family. He told that guys that he is happy that they took care of me and for going with him to get her back. He said Tony’s death was not in vain, but retribution was given for his death. His memory will live on forever. Luciano said that he knows that all of the guys don’t have a home of their own, but he said that if they want, they are welcomed to live here with us. I looked up at him and I was shocked because I was not expecting this. I looked at my parents and my mom smiled and winked at me. I looked back and Luciano and he said that he would provide for everyone and would give them jobs and a place of their own. I looked at the guys and most of them were smiling and nodding their heads. I put my head down because Luciano never talked to me about this or never gave me a choice if I wanted to come here or not. I know that I agreed to marry him, but this is a huge decision and he didn’t even talk to me about it. After he finished talking, he came to sit down next to me he asked if I was okay and I told him I am fine. The priest finished the service and I got up to leave and walked away from everyone. I was angry because he made a huge decision without talking to me about any of it. I don’t understand why in the hell I am so upset and the past few days I have been such an emotional mess. I have been moody, and I think that it is just everything that has happened plus with Tony.
