Today was the day for our introduction ceremony and I was a nervous mess and so was Luciano, he kept trying to get me to stay behind and I was adamant that I was going to be right here with him. Right now, he was having a meeting with all of our guards and my dad was out there with them all. My mom came in earlier and helped me to pick out a gown and she left to go and get something for me. I was sitting at my new vanity table since I broke the other one. I felt bad for breaking all my s**t, but I know that I should have controlled my anger better, but it was really hard for me. I heard the door open and my mom stepped into the room and she showed me a small box and opened it up and she said that this tiara belonged to her mother and it was passed down to her and she told me now this belongs to you. I looked up at her with tears in my eyes and I told her mom. My voice shook and she said when you have a daughter of your own then you pass it down to her and so on. I wrapped my arms around her waist, and she hugged me back and she told me that she loves me so much and told me how strong and stubborn I am. I laughed at that and I told her that I loved her too. She lifted me up so that I could finish getting dressed and I walked into our walk-in closet and put on my gown that I was going to wear tonight. It was maroon lowcut backless dress with a slit on the left leg that went down to my ankles, I had black stilettos with my dress. After I finished dressing, I came back out and my mom seen me, and she covered her mouth with her hands, and she told me that I look so beautiful and I just smiled at her and chuckled. She came to stand behind me, and she placed the tiara on top of my head, and I turned around and I asked her so how do I look, and she said like a bad ass queen. I just laughed at her and I said okay mom. My mom said that she is going to go and finish getting dressed and she would see me out there, I told her okay and she left the room.

I looked at him and just rolled my eyes and I told him please do not go overboard with the whole protection thing Luciano and he said that I need to take this serious and I just nodded my head at him to give both of us peace of mind for tonight.

He asked me if I was ready and I looked up at him and I told him that I love him, and he told me that he loves me so much too. He said do you remember what I told you that if anything happens to me to leave and protect our child first. I looked at him with watery eyes and I told him yes, I remember but nothing is going to happen to him! He said just promise him and I said okay I promise, but he didn’t know that I had my fingers crossed behind my back. He also didn’t know that under this dress I had a holster attached to my leg that carried my loaded gun just in case I should need it. He places my hand to the inside of his arm, and we walked out of our room and walked towards the stairs where we would be introduced to the other families that would be attending our introduction. I told them thank you and Luciano asked if I was thirsty or hungry and I told him yes that I was thirsty and I was going to let his hand go and he said no that one of the guards will get me something. He looked at one of the guards and they came forward and he told them to get me something to drink and to get one for Mariana if she is thirsty. They left right away and came back with a drink for me and my mom.

We were talking with so many people and then I heard a voice that I was not ready to hear. We walked into the office and he asked her what message that was and then for her to leave. I could see her hesitate and she was looking around and looking on the ground and he asked her well what is the message? I reached into the slit of my dress and was pulling my gun out.
