Luciano POV

I was sitting in my office and I was frustrated with everything that was going on and I was missing Seraphina because the only time we get to spend with each other is in the night. I heard a knock on my door, and I told them to come in and I was shocked at who walked into my office it was Liliana Rossi. The last time I saw her was when I was 17 years old before I left from Italy when I lost my family. She was my girlfriend at the time and I never parted ways from her and at that time we were really in love with each other and at one time I was considering on proposing to her. But times have changed, and so have I and I love Seraphina with all my heart, and I could not see myself living without her. Liliana walked into the office and I stood up and she wrapped her arms around me, and I hugged her around her waist. It felt like old times and it was a nostalgic moment and then I heard the door open and I looked, and Seraphina was looking at us and I pushed Liliana away from me. By the look on Seraphina’s face I know that she was pissed, and I felt like a hypocrite because I just told her that if any man was ever to come near her that I would kill him. Here I am with another woman in my arms and it looks like she wants to kill us both.

I told Seraphina that it is not what it looks like, and she said oh please don’t stop on my account. She said that it is what it exactly looked like to her. It didn’t help when Liliana told Seraphina that she might as well walk away so that we could catch up on old times. Seraphina walked up to her and told her b***h don’t test me and that she would beat her beyond recognition, and she would not walk out of here. I knew that Seraphina would beat her ass because Liliana was not that type of girl and she couldn’t defend herself if her life depended on it. Liliana looked up at me and she said are you going to let her talk to me like this? Seraphina looked up at me waiting for me to say something and I just shook my head at her. The look that she gave me I will remember it for the rest of my life. She looked at me like I betrayed her and a part of me felt like I did, but I needed to set Liliana straight first and then go to do damage control with Seraphina. Then Liliana said the stupidest thing ever and told Seraphina yes that is right b***h know your place. Seraphina hissed and she walked towards the door and I could feel her looking at us as I looked down at Liliana and she was telling me how much she has missed me. I wanted to kill this stupid girl in front of me and I was trying to keep it together. Seraphina opened the door and she slammed that s**t loud and managed to knock some of the stuff off the walls. Liliana looked up at me and she said that she has missed me so much and when she tried to wrap her arms around me again. I stepped back from her and I told her that what we had in the past is just that it’s the past. I told her that she has no place in my future and that what she just did right now, she will never do again. I told her that Seraphina is going to be my wife and the mother of my child. I told her that I want her to leave this house and to never come back here again. I told her that I do not want her to come around my wife or my family. I told her to get the f**k out of here now or next time she comes here she will be shot! She looked up at me and she just nodded her head and she was completely pale, so I am sure that she got my message loud and clear!

I called one of the guards and they came in and I told them to escort her out and she is not allowed on these premises ever again and if she ever comes here, she will be shot on site! The guard grabbed her by her arm and took her out. I left my office and walked to my room and I seen Mariana on my way and she looked at me and she said I would not go in there if I were you and I looked at her and I said that bad. She nodded her head at me, and she said that she was not surprised that she didn’t come out and go into your office with a gun. I told Mariana that Liliana will never come here again and should she ever come near my family she will be shot on site. Mariana nodded her head at me in approval, she told me to try my best to make sure that she stays home with us. I walked into my room and it looked like a tornado hit it. I seen clothes mainly mine thrown all over the place on the floor, her suitcase on the bed. There was broken glass all over the place and I cussed under my breath because I know that this was bad but not this bad. I didn’t see her in our room, and I walked to the restroom and I found her sitting on the floor. I called her name and I noticed that she was bleeding all over the place and I yelled for her. I ran towards her and she told me that I better not come near her and that she was going to beat my f*****g ass. I believed her too and she told me to take a good look at her and that this is the closet I will ever get to coming near her again. I could see her shaking in fury and she said that I could go back to my old b***h and that I will never come near her or my baby. I looked down at her and closed my eyes and I told her that I only want you and not her. She put her hand up to stop me from talking she took the ring off her finger and threw it at me. I caught it in my hand, and she told me that she doesn’t want to marry me anymore and that she is going back home. I told her to please don’t leave me Seraphina and I kneeled down in front of her trying to get close to her. She said that the first time our relationship is tested she wasn’t sure if she could live this life, but she still tried for me and now when it was my turn I was in the arms of another b***h. She looked at me in disgust and she said that she can’t do this anymore and she got up to leave and when she started to walk away she swayed to the right and right before she was falling to the floor I screamed her name and ran towards her and caught her in my arms. 

I started to scream for help I was applying pressure to her hands and Mariana and Santo ran inside the room and were screaming what happened. Santo ran and called for our private doctor was yelling for a first aid kit. Mariana started to get wash rags to clean her up and apply pressure to her hands. I laid her down on the bed and I was trying to get her to come too. I was crying and telling her please baby wake up for me please! The doctor came in 10 minutes later and asked what happened and I had to tell the doctor everything that happened, and Santo was pretty pissed off and wanted to kill Liliana and so did I. I told the doctor to please make sure that our baby was okay as well. The doctor called for her OB doctor to come in and check her. The doctor applied bandages to her hands after cleaning her up. He gave her some ointment and Tylenol because he couldn’t give her anything else. Once the OB doctor got there everyone cleared out of the room with exception of Santo, Mariana and me. The doctor got everything set up and started doing the sonogram and she said that everything looks okay with the baby but she cannot be under any kind of stress because she could lose the baby if her blood pressure rises to high or she because enraged they way she did. I closed my eyes and I told the doctor okay and that I would do my best to make sure that she will be okay. The doctor went ahead and cleaned up Seraphina and gathered her stuff and walked out of our room. Santo came up to me and he asked what the f**k happened, and I told him about Liliana and Mariana told us how she was acting downstairs before she walked up. I told Santo that I gave strict orders that if she ever comes back here that the guards have my orders to kill her on site. He asked why I didn’t stick up for her in front of Liliana when it mattered. I told him that I have no excuse for why I didn’t, and I should have, I told him that I hate myself more than anyone will know.

I heard a knock on my door, and I yelled at them WHAT DID THEY WANT?! The guard came in and he said boss we have a problem, I told him to come in and he said that they were doing a sweep and they found a device in my office under my desk. I asked him what kind of a device and he said that it was a bug and I cursed out loud and I told him when did they find it and he said it was after they escorted Liliana out of the house. I looked at Santo and I told him to find out everything about her now. He said okay that he is on it. Mariana said what do you think that she is trying to find out and I told her that I don’t know but we are going to find out. I told her that I am not going to let anything happen to Seraphina or our baby. I told her that I will kill that b***h before I let anyone near my family. I looked over at Seraphina and I leaned over her and I told her that I was so sorry and that I love her so much. Mariana looked at me and she said that her daughter is so stubborn and strong minded, that she is just like her father. I told her that is one of the things that I love about her the most, and that she loves hard as well. I told Mariana that I wish that she loved me that hard as well. I put my head down and I told her that I f****d up big time, I told her that she threw the ring back at me and said that she doesn’t want to get married to me anymore, she said it will happen to just give her some time. I told her I hope that you are right because I can’t live with out either of them! Santo came back into the room and he looked at me and he asked if Seraphina is still out of it and I said yes why and he said what he found is not good and I asked why what did he find. He said that Liliana and her father are the ones that put in the order to have your family killed and had hired the people that took Seraphina when she was younger. I looked at him and I was had staggered back and I asked are you sure and he said yes but that they were working with the Russo family. The day that my family was killed she thought I was with my family and when she found out I wasn’t she was going to have you finished off. Word is that they were going to have you assassinated at your introduction tomorrow. I asked him who else knows about this and he said just us, and I asked him do we know who the shooter is, and he said yes, we do.

I told him okay that we are going to put Seraphina in a safe house, and we are going to go through with the introduction. I will tell everyone that Seraphina and I had a falling out so that would take away the danger from her and it will stay on me. If they shoot me then I will play dead given if they don’t really kill me and I want everyone to take the shooter but keep him alive. I want to question him and take him to the basement. Santo said that he doesn’t like that idea and that it is to risky. I told him that I would rather die then to risk losing Seraphina or my baby. I told Santo that I love her too much to lose her and he said what do you think Seraphina would say and I told him it doesn’t matter because she hates me already and doesn’t want to marry me anyways. I told him that I will just make this easier for her if I am out of the way. Santo and Mariana were quiet, and I just took in a deep breath and I told him just to please do me a favor to please watch over her and take care of both of them for me. I told Santo that if anything happens to me that I want her to have everything, all the money, everything. He looked at me and he said nothing will happen to you Luciano. I told him that I hope he is right. I got up from the bed ready to walk away and I heard her say since when have you ever tucked your tail for any b***h and that I better think again about leaving her behind. I turned to look at her and she said that she is not going to hide behind anyone and that I am full of s**t if I think that I am sending her anywhere. She sat up and she said that her place is by my side and if I think that some little b***h is going to take what is hers then that w***e has another thing coming. I felt hope bloom in my chest at her words and I walked towards her and I reached for her hand and helped her off the bed. I looked at her and I said so does this mean that you still want me, and she said what do I think.

I leaned down to pick her up in my arms, but she hooked her arms over mine and flipped me over her body and slammed me on the floor. She looked down at me and smirked at me. I could hear Santo and Mariana laughing their asses off. I laid on the floor trying to breath looking up at her and shook my head, she said to give her the ring back now. I got up from the floor and I looked at her and called her a showoff and she laughed, and she said but you love this show off. I told her I don’t know what I am going to do with you, but I know that I am not going to let her go ever.  She asked me if the baby is okay and I told her yes the baby is okay and we told her what the doctor said that she is not to be stressed out and I told her that I don’t want her there at the introduction party though. She looked at me like I was full of s**t and she said that she is going to be there. She said that it would be better if we showed a united front. She said that what that b***h did today was try to drive a wedge between us by trying to drive me out, it almost worked but she said that we are not going to give her what she wanted. She was expecting us to fall apart and said that she is going to be damned if that w***e gets what she wants. I told him that I don’t ever want that w***e here in my house ever again. I told her that I gave the guards strict orders that if she ever comes near here again that she is to be shot on site. She smiled at that and said thank you. I wrapped my arm around her and pulled her close to me and kissed her on the forehead. I told her the next time she gets pissed off like that to just go to the gym and blow off steam their next time. She looked at me and she said that we have a gym here, I looked at her and I told her yes, we do. She said great now you f*****g tell me. I have been here this whole time and you never thought to tell me that we had a f*****g gym. I told her well you are pregnant, and I don’t want you to get hurt. She just rolled her eyes at me and I laughed at her.

Santo and Mariana made sure that Seraphina was doing okay and if there was anything that she needed, and she told them no that she was fine just a little tired and after awhile they left so that she could get some rest. I looked down at her and I asked her if we really were okay and she looked up at me for a while and let out a deep sigh and she told me that what I did in there really did hurt her bad and I told her that I was really sorry. I told her that I have no excuse for why I didn’t speak up and that I was an i***t for not saying anything. She said yes you are an i***t for not saying anything. She told me honestly part of her wants to leave but that her heart is not letting her walk away from me. I told her that I agree with her heart and she asked me how I would have felt if someone from her past came up to her and she was wrapped up in his arms. I tensed because I would not have liked being on the other side of that line. I told her that will never happen again, and she said for my sake she hopes that I am telling the truth and she said if that ever happens again that she will come in shooting next time. I looked at her and smirked and I told her that I thought that would have happened earlier to be honest with her. She laughed because she said that the thought crossed her mind and she was tempted to do just that. I asked her if she was hungry and she said she is, and I asked her what she wants to eat, and she said what she wants in not food though. I looked at her confused and I asked her well what does she want and she pushed me back and I fell against the bed and she climbed up on top of me and she told me you and she smashed her lips against mine. I held her by her waist and our clothes flying off in different directions followed by grunts and moans that lasted all night. Later that night as we laid down in each other’s arms I told her that I love her and is she still willing to marry me. With her head laying on my chest she said that she still wants to be my wife and I was happy to hear that because I was afraid that she would not want too. I told her that I will put her ring back on her finger as soon as the swelling has gone down.  

Today was the day of the introduction party for Seraphina and me, and everyone was on edge especially Santo and me. I told Santo that I want an emergency meeting conducted immediately to be held in the backyard because that is where everyone would be able to fit without being crowded in my office. I told him that I want everyone out there in 10 minutes. I was in my office watching out the window as everyone was gathering and once everyone was out there Santo nodded his head at me and I made me way out there. When I walked down the path, they parted ways for me to walk with all of them bowing their head at me. I told them that today is a very important day and I expect everyone to be vigilant and to pay attention to everyone walking through those doors. I told them that I want everyone to make sure that no weapons are to be brought into these premises. I told them that if they fail at their specific job, I will shoot them myself. I looked at Santo and he nodded his head at me, and he stood in front of me and he said has some of you know that there is a hit on our boss and possibly Seraphina. He told them that we know who the shooter is and what he looks like. He said that whoever gets to him first is to take him as quietly as possible and have someone else accompany you and take him to the basement and let us know right away, and no one is allowed to touch him until we get down there. I stepped up and I told the guards that I want guards around Seraphina at all times. I told them that they are to protect their future queen with their lives. I told them if she needs the restroom that they are to walk in there and make sure it is safe first. If she is thirsty make sure that you are pouring her drink and make sure that it does not leave her hand. I don’t want you to blink your eye for a second when she is in your presence. I asked them if there are any questions, to ask now and I looked at everyone and I said since there are no further questions then I want everyone ready for tonight.
