Unwanted she-wolf

Chapter 4 : Big surprise

I could hear movement in my room. my eye's where still closed. i could sense it was woman but not a she wolf, this was a human. humming a song i couldn't make out what song it was, i sat up she hasn't turned around yet  so i think she think's I'm sleeping. 

"Oh my goodness" she squealed  

"Im so sorry i thought you were still sleeping" 

i looked at her  i didnt say a word. i just kept my eye's on her. she was an older woman she looked older than my mother her hair was grey and in a braided bun. she had a grey apron on over her clothes and a gold ST Christopher pendent around her neck 

"my name's Marion, im the house keeper" she said smiling. 

i didn't say anything instead i kept a watchful eye on her picking up my dirty clothes off the floor, and placing the fresh towels on my dresser, 

"im Natasha Devereaux" 

Marion smiled at me. she opened the balcony door, 

"can you smell that?" she said

shit the weed! i thought to myself 

"what? i replied. 

it was faint but you could tell it was weed. 

"those builders smoking their crap" i looked at her nodding in agreement. 

she then stared to mutter, 

"If Luna Kelly smells it she will go off her head especially in her condition" 

i looked at her "Luna kelly?" i said. 

"Mrs Fitzpatrick" she said smiling "Master Caine's wife". 

"so he's married, i thought he was still engaged" 

"no they got married five month's ago, on learning she was pregnant. it's exciting" Marion said 

"oh i bet" i said 

here goes my day, i could feel opaline hurt i even felt somewhat betrayed. but right now i had more pressing concerns i could feel my heart racing i looked at my finger nails getting longer i was starting to shift opaline wanted and was prepared to kill every living thing in this house, 

i couldn't fight it maybe i didn't want to maybe if i let her loose i could go back home. 

"that will be all Marion" Ian's voice came from the door way. 

i knew he could sense what was about to happen

he shifted into a Brown colour wolf blocking the door away. 

I shifted into a Huge white wolf with grey streaks just like my hair. , Ian was taken back, even though i was small in my human form, my wolf was huge a bit bigger than Ian's my eye's were purple, 

i could hear his thoughts as he could mine 

"get out my way or i will fucken bite your head off" i barked. 

he didn't budge he stood his ground me and opaline went for it. 

I bit into his the back of his neck chucking him out the way. 

he let out a whine. but he got up and gave chase right through the manor. 

i smashed through a large Stained glass window on the landing and ran truth is i didn't want to harm anyone, my plan was to get outside and away from here  before opaline convinced me otherwise ,  ian wasn't following me anymore i came to a forest  and laid down. still in my wolf form. i could hear crashing waves i think their was a cliff near by. 

i heard a twig snapping behind me as i turned around Alpha Caine standing in his human form shirtless and only wearing trousers, he didn't even have socks on 

"you are a sight" he said 

i growled, i sat down, 

"i brought you a blanket" he said holding it up, i looked around it was clear he ran here in his human form, i could feel opaline more at ease before i knew it i shifted back into human form, i took the blanket and wrapped it around myself, even though i had magic and could no doubt conjure up clothes i didn't want him to know 

my mistake was turning my back to him before i knew it something covered my face and everything went dark .

holding on to  Natasha as she struggled she finally went limp in my arms. i picked her up in my arms making sure the blanket was secure around her, i can't believe she is that fucken stupid trying to make a run for it. i seen the range rover approaching, maximus is driving. i gently placed  Natasha in the back seat, she's out cold the chloroform will have her asleep for a hour or so. I know she want's to go home but an agreement has been made and i can't help it with her about i can feel Balthazar at his strongest. 

upon reaching the house, the clean up crew were already were already making quick work of the mess. i got maximus to take Natasha back to her room with help from Marion,

i made my way inside, to be greeted by my beautiful wife Kelly with her growing baby bump standing shaking her head.

"you really had to bring her here?" she said

i could tell she was furious, but we had this discussion at least a dozen times, she knew i loved her , that it was a rare for a wolf especially my family to even find their true mates because of the curse that was placed onto our family after my great great great  grandfather destroyed a witch coven, so keeping young Natasha near would ensure Balthazar would remain at full strength and help keep him from going insane. Luna Kelly is the only one apart from Ian that knows the last two partners of Caine  their deaths wasn't intentional it was because of the curse Balthazar couldn't control himself. 

 i kissed my wife on the cheek , 

"don't worry, your still my number one" reassuring her. 

((back to Natasha))

I awoke to find a little girl no more than 5 year's old playing with my hair, she had black hair with a yellow bow and big brown eyes 

"hi who are you?" i said whilst sitting up on the bed. 

"im Sophie" she said in such a sweet voice 

"why are you here Natasha?" i looked at her

"my mean father sent me here" i smiled at her 

"daddy's are the worst" she continued, i nodded in agreement getting my self out the bed to pour a glass of water from the jug that had been left on the dresser, 

"kid you've no idea" 

"my daddy killed me and my mommy, i was in her tummy" 

i looked up at the mirror the little girls eyes were red and her face was a skeleton 

the jug of water slipped out my hand and spilled all over the floor, luckily it was a plastic jug other wise it would of been worse 

i turned away from the mirror to look at Sophie but she had vanished. 

What the f**k was that i thought. my hand's were shaken.

it's just a dream, it was just a dream i kept repeating. 

just as i was trying to calm down in walked Marion, 

"good your awake young lady, it's time to get ready, 

she hadn't even notice the spilled water, she laid out clothes, and told me that dinner was in 10 minutes to come down stairs when I'm ready. 

i looked at the clothes, it was lace long navy blue dress it was clear this was going to be an important dinner.. a wicked smile crossed my face

"im not wearing that"

"why not? its nice said opaline"

"well for one it's not me, and secondly it's nice for you to join me, where were you when ghost girl showed up"? 

"i don't like demons"

"What do you mean demons?" 

opaline didn't answer, well that's one thing for me to do this week, find out if this place has a library and see what it knows about demons.

like i said i wasn't going to wear that, clearly a fancy dinner, no doubt trying to sell me off or something, so i decided to keep it simple, i choose to wear a white, red and navy plaid dress shirt ,with blue  jeans and blue suede pumps. I'm not dressing up to please these kidnappers. i brushed my hair and put it up in a messy bun, and made my way out my room down the stairs 

i walked down the stairs, Marion looking at me in surprise Ian whispered 

"Marion did you give the princess  the dress?" 

i interrupted " yes, opaline shredded it, payback for drugging me" 

a smile crossed his face. he slightly bowed, 

i could feel getting stared at, and i knew i was under dressed, but i was determined to be a nightmare for these people, and determined to enjoy myself. 

i entered the dinning room, Alpha Caine and his Luna Kelly were sitting at the the other end of the large grand mahogany table next to each other, And surprise surprise, Alpha Zane wood's and his Luna Sarah were also at the table. i don't think any of them were too pleased i choose to sit  away from them all and was clearly not dressed the way they had planned. i could feel the anger radiating off Alpha Caine but i could also sense happiness which maybe was coming from  Balthazar his wolf. 

ian left the dinning room, as he was leaving, in walked  Ryan woods, Sarah and Zane's oldest 20 year old son ive not seen him since i was 8 years old, he has a scar on his left wrist all the way up his arm he was lucky that werewolf's have good healing speeds and that opaline and me actually liked him and even felt sorry for him otherwise his head probably would of been eaten. 

"it's been a long time" he said to me whilst pulling up a chair

"probably a good thing" i grumbled 

"that's a nasty scar".. i said trying not to laugh"

"some b***h gave me it" it was clear he wasn't over the past..

"interesting"... "well maybe it was a lesson"

"how do you work that one out?" he said he was staring at me intensely  

"never f**k with a Devereaux" 

he stood up from his chair, and scoffed and walked off to sit next his mother and father. 

"p***y i coughed" 

just at that moment i could feel burning stares from Alpha Caine. i didn't dare look at him, i didn't touch the food, they were all whispering at the top end of the table. "is something the matter with the food" Luna kelly said causing unwanted attention towards my way. 

"nothing it look's and smells great but unfortunately i cant eat nor accept it"

she looked at me 

"And why not" she asked. 

"i turned and looked at Ryan" 

"well having catching someone putting poison in the family soup, at the age of 8, and now sitting at the same table as that person... let's just say it's off putting" 

"right ryan?" 

"That was a long time ago" Luna Sarah said, 

"yet the memory is still fresh" i said looking over at them. 

"well the past is in the past" Alpha Zane butted in 

"you and ryan should spend time with each other this summer after all you're father promised a marriage between yourself and our ryan by the time you reach 17"

"no fucken way" me and ryan shouted  at the exact same time. 

it's obvious he wasn't looped in either. 

i stood up feeling sick, and with that i turned away and walked out to my room 

i could hear Ryan shouting about me saying i was a psychopath that he wasn't going through with it. I felt numb that my own father would even make this sort of deal.  i needed a plan and i needed it fast.
