Luca was about 6’6”, short dark brown hair, fierce eyes of green, broad shoulders, and had a slight  “dad bod” going on.  He was sitting in his chair in the den when Lauren and Claire walked in.  “Dad,” Lauren said, “I need to talk to you.”  He turned to look at her, and saw that Claire was with her.  “Oh hi Claire, have you seen Finley today?”  He smiles after he asked this, ad before Claire could answer, Finley burst in.  “Oh hey guys!  Ummm Claire can I talk to you?”  Claire looked at Lauren, and Lauren shrugged.  “Uh sure.  Lauren needs to talk to your dad anyway.”  Lauren sat down by her dad, and started with her daydream, how she thought Kelly was her mate, and how she determined that last night through another daydream.  Her father sat quietly.  It was several very long, and anxious filled minutes before he spoke.  “Lauren, you do know her.”  “You played with her when y’all were little.  Her family lived near ours when we lived in Madisonville.”  “Madisonville?” She asked.  That was so long ago.  That was back before her mom passed away, and they moved to Newport.  How could she have been linked to someone in Madisonville that she can’t remember?  Her father sensed what she was thinking.  “Lauren, I’ve known about you liking girls since you were little.  Kelly was your first friend you had in Madisonville.  I moved our family from there as soon as I could because I was ashamed of how you were.”  “I never thought that you and Kelly could have formed a strong connection in such a short time.  You must have linked with each other somehow then.”  Lauren’s eyes glistened, and her heart sank knowing that her father was ashamed of her.  However, they could get through this, and she was determined that they would.  “Dad I need to know everything you remember about Kelly.  She told me I have to save her before we could be together.”  Luca’s eyes watered.  He knew just what Lauren meant when she told him she had to save Kelly.  He knew the battle that his daughter was about to go through for her mate. That night as Lauren laid in her room, she had a thought of Kelly.  She thought about how she wanted to hold her, kiss her, and make her know that everything was going to be ok.  Lauren sighed.  “How am I going to find you, when I don’t even know where to start?!”, she whispered into the darkness of her room.  Lauren drifted off to sleep, and found it to be anything but peaceful.  She had a horrible nightmare about her plan to save Kelly going wrong, and somehow she managed to lose her before she ever got to meet her.  Lauren sat up in bed, panting and trying hard to catch her breath.  She close her eyes trying to calm herself, and she let her mind wander.  She went back to the field from the first daydream, and hoped that Kelly would be there.  Lauren found herself standing in the field of daisies.  A slight breeze blowing, and thinking how she was thankful her hair was pulled into a ponytail since it was hot.  The sun was shining down on her honey colored legs and bare shoulders.  The tank top she was wearing seemed to stick her skin where it clung over her large breasts.  She could feel Kelly there before she turned to see her.  As she turned Lauren said, “Kelly, I will find you and I will save you.  I need you.  I need to feel you in my arms.”  Kelly smiled, and said “I can’t wait for that Lauren.  You have to hurry.  You have to save me.”  “Come home.”
