Water It had been exactly two days and eight hours since Aileen fainted on the roof. To say I was worried was an understatement. For some reason, I couldn't make myself leave her side. Not even for a second. It was odd but I decided not to put much thought into it. Alex stayed with me in the infirmary most of the time. We didn't talk much as we watched Aileen's still body on the bed. Urging her to wake up. Alex and the rest of the orphanage beside Barbara and me thought Aileen had fallen and hit her head, which was the reason Barbara placed a bandage on it. The headmistress had been quick to ban any student from going up onto the roof without adult supervision. She probably thought Aileen had been up there to commit suicide or something like that. To them, it had been a strange night.
