Fire Suddenly, the ground underneath my feet seemed to open up and I felt as if I were falling, but something was different now. I felt different. Millions of thoughts and suppositions filled in my mind that I barely nodded the uncomfortable sensation at the pit of my stomach. Moments before impact, my eyes widened as I was engulfed with a dark hole. I tried to scream but no sound came from out of my lips. Where was I going? ... The next thing I heard was the rhythmic sound of a heart monitor closeby. Slowly, the rest of my senses came back as well. Seconds later, I could feel the smooth, cool fabric underneath my fingertips even though I couldn't move. Then, I wished I could wrinkle my nose as the powerful scent of chemicals filled me.
