Episode 1: GRAND PARENTAL POSSESSION
One weird Saturday night, a 13 year old girl named Zia was bored of watching television, and decided to step outside of the house at around 8 pm. She went to the backyard where there was a big banyan tree, where she loved running around it, and what she mostly enjoyed about it is when she falls down from feeling dizzy. Her mother, Hannah, began calling her, but due to the excitement she was experiencing, she never paid attention to her mother.
Then suddenly, Hannah walked out of the house, and heard Zia screaming in joy from the backyard, and sneaked in order to see what her daughter was doing. She got annoyed upon seeing her running in circles around a banyan tree, of which that tree gave Hannah the creeps every time she sees it.
HANNAH:(shouted) Hey Zia, come into the house right now! Can't you see how late it is to be playing outside, that too by yourself?
ZIA:(bored) But Mom....
HANNAH: No buts, kid! Now step into the house right now!
ZIA:(bored) Okay fine.
When they went back inside, Hannah took Zia to her bedroom, and helped her to sleep by reciting a lullaby. Just five hours later, at around 1:15 am, Zia woke up from a nightmare but she never screamed. She felt very tired but her dreams were completely gone, so she decided to go outside and enjoy the full moon's view, and enjoying fresh air. She successfully sneaked stealthily out of the house and went to sit on a stone which was under the shade of the banyan tree, the same tree she usually runs around in circles.
ZIA:(sighed in relaxation) This is what I call the life. Right about now, if Mom was awake, she would have sent me back into the house again, and that sucks. Thankfully I managed to get rid of her, I mean just look at this amazing view. Let me take a picture so I can paint it out tomorrow.
As she was about to snap a picture, she heard the eerie noise of an owl hooting, while it was on the banyan tree, and a few meters above her head. She freaked out, and stood up from where she was sitting, and somehow noticed the owl.
The owl flew away from the banyan tree and landed onto another tree which was outside the yard, and immediately she knew that it wanted her to catch up with it. So the owl flew two miles away from her house to the woods, and she followed it all the way.
Zia kept on following the owl and she reached to the abandoned wooden house, and she happened to see the same owl landing onto the wooden house. Zia was extremely frightened upon just seeing the house in the middle of the woods.
ZIA:(scared) Whose house is this?! It looks quite ancient. And that owl led me here, but I wonder why. Maybe I should take a look inside.
Zia encouraged herself, and somehow walked all the way to the door of the house, and when she opened it, a lot of bats sprouted out of the house, giving her a scare, causing her to scream for a while. She then lit on her phone's flashlight so she could see what else was inside, only to find out that there was a book, with her own name written in gold letters on the cover of the book.
ZIA: Zia?! Who wrote this book? And why would he or she named it Zia? But that also happens to be my name. So, could that owl be telling me, that this book was meant for me? Let me take it home.
Just when Zia was about to leave the house, a certain white ghost possessed her, and she felt numb for a matter of ten minutes while she fell unconscious and dropped on the ground. Afterwards, she woke up, and found that book in her hands, and she stood up, and walked out of the house. She then looked everywhere in search of that owl, and she found it, standing on the roof of the wooden house.
ZIA: I guess, a thank you, would be an appropriate way to say to you. So yeah, thanks for the book.
The owl hooted and flew away from the woods, leaving her alone.
ZIA: Wait! No, I now have to find my own way back home.
Then suddenly, she heard a voice in her head telling her directions, and she was extremely dumbfounded. She took the instructions and managed to get back home safe and sound.
ZIA:(shocked) Just who was that? She just showed me a way back home like she's been here before. Anyways, I have to go back inside without waking up my nagging mother.
She successfully sneaked back in, and jumped into the blankets after hearing her mother coughing in her room.
HANNAH:(hears the noise) Hey, keep it down over there! And go back to sleep.
ZIA:(shouts) Yes Mom! That was a close one. Anyways, let's call it a goodnight.
