Zeke's POV
She was just as beautiful as I remembered her—a fatal flame that could burn me to ashes.
I couldn't take my eyes off her when I first saw a glimpse of her. The battle had left me in a hot mess of fury; I couldn't control my emotions.
Tired and emotionally drained, I knew I wouldn't be able to face her the right way if she were to approach me, so I set the party to happen immediately upon my return.
'It’s almost time, Zeke.' My wolf stirred as a vein pulsed on my jaw. Gritting my teeth, I suppressed the urge to growl as much as I wanted to.
I don't remember when it started, but as soon as I went to that battle, it felt like I was cursed. And this wasn’t a curse I could handle.
"Are you okay, Alpha?" Dmitri asked as he stepped into my office. I shook my head, clenching my fists.
"Have you prepared the thing I asked for?" I cast him a side glance as I leaned against my desk, trembling. My body trembled, pulsing with heat, and a painful hardness pressed against my trousers.
Shit. I cursed internally. If it wasn’t for this damn curse...
"It’s not easy to find, Alpha," he replied with a chuckle. "People don’t just sprawl on the road, ready to be picked." he chuckled.
I glared at him, cutting off his laughter. He coughed nervously, his humour dying in his throat.
"I don’t know how you’re going to find them, but find them fast!" I snarled, my voice low and threatening. "Or you will find your brains sprawled on the floor instead." A crazed smile tilted the corner of my lips as I watched the bob of his throat.
The wild urge to slit it flashed through my mind, but I swallowed it down. Not now.
I had to stay in control, or it might turn out to be another disaster yet again.
"Excuse me, Alpha." Dmitri muttered under his breath, blowing stiffly. Cold sweat glistened on his forehead as I waved him away.
He turned and scurried away with his tail between his legs. He was a damn snake, and his presence infuriated me the more I looked at him.
'If not for this damn curse—argh!' I growled, slamming my fist on the desk, causing cracks to form on the wood.
With a heavy body, I walked to the door and clicked it shut.
Dmitri could return at any time, and I wouldn’t be able to control my anger if he came in while I was doing 'that.'
I didn't even make it to my chair before unzipping my pants, releasing the pulsing ache from its restraint.
Leaning against my desk, my hand worked furiously up and down my shaft. The image of her sensual red-painted lips filled my mind. The softness of her ginger hair, her teary, honey-gold eyes whenever they looked at me...
A ragged gasp escaped my lips as I imagined her juicy body beneath mine—so divine. A destruction that was mine. Mine!
My hand moved faster, imagining it was her juicy cherry I was pumping into.
"f**k!" I hissed under my breath, disgusted at myself for the nonsense I was doing. Yet again, I came apart at the slight remembrance of her soft voice in my head.
"I am damned," I groaned in exasperation, throwing my head back to stare at the ceiling. "Yet I’d want her a million more times, even if I’m not allowed to have her."
I panted as I stared at my palms, slick with my release. This wasn’t what I wanted. This wasn't the plan.
Yet, I wasn’t satisfied. Only after doing it a few more times did I finally calm down from the height I was forced to climb.
I was needed for tonight’s event, and seeing Ravenna tonight would determine my actions from this point onward.

8:30 PM: Vonsyke Pack, The Party
"Alpha! Come on! Everyone is waiting for you at the party!" Dmitri paced about as he watched me tend to some documents on my desk.
I took a sharp breath, trying to calm my emotions as he spoke.
'Don’t ruin the plan, Zeke,' my wolf warned, and I sighed heavily.
He was right. Rushing into things would mean hurting her.
I checked the time on my watch as I stood from my chair. "Alright, let’s go."
Approaching the door, I stopped in my tracks when I reached Dmitri. He froze and turned to meet my intense stare.
He gulped, avoiding my eyes immediately. Dmitri was never a timid man, but today, he was. I wondered what the reason could be.
Once I left my office, it didn’t take long to reach the hall. As I walked in, I drew the attention of everyone around. My blood boiled in anticipation as I searched for my little cat.
But after scanning the crowd, the people began to gather, and someone had the audacity to remind everyone that I had arrived. I quickly identified the person and tossed him a hard glare.
Women immediately crowded me, and my body turned rigid. Internally, I cursed. 'If any of these filthy women touch me, I swear to the goddess herself, there will be bloodshed.'
I clenched my jaw until my teeth ground together, the metallic taste calming my senses. Yet my eyes still roamed the hall.
Then I saw her.
Our eyes met, and my heart leapt. My foot moved forward on its own, but I froze.
'No...'
A cold frown replaced the excitement bubbling in my chest when I saw her. I forced myself to look away, refusing to glance a second time. My heart thudded rapidly, the urge to look again gnawing at me.
We are not—
Before I could finish the thought, a giggle rang out—one I was all too familiar with.
“Uncle! You’ve become even more handsome than before,” Catherine gushed, her eyes drooling with lust. No one else could see it, but I could.
The eyes of a woman who wanted me to bend her over and give her a good f**k. Lucky for her, I didn’t give a f**k about her. If she was a diamond in the rough, my darling little cat was the shining moon in the sky.
Yet I had to care this time.
"My darling little niece, you’ve become even prettier than the last time I saw you!" I exclaimed, forcing a bubbly tone as I flashed her a smile. When she approached me for a hug, I clasped her hand instead.
There would be no touching me. Not now, not ever. I wanted to glance at Ravenna to see if she noticed, but I steeled my heart.
'Stick to the plan, Zeke,' my wolf ordered again, and I clenched my fists.
"Uncle! Did you bring a gift for me?" Catherine, still oblivious to my disinterest, tried to be touchy. Her friends joined in, trying to engage me in conversation.
When I finally grew tired of their antics, I excused myself and left the hall. My hard-on pressed against my trousers again, and if I didn’t deal with it...
'I’m afraid of what I’ll do.'
Once I was outside, Dmitri stepped out of the hall after receiving my mind link.
"Tell Ravenna to report to my office first thing tomorrow morning."
This time, everything would turn out fine, my little cat.
