The dark princess

Adanai grabbed the black coat from the chair, frustrated and upset she step out of the dinner. This was the fourth job she lost in a month. The heavy rain made a walk through Willow ville evens more depressing. As she turned the corner, she noticed some more Kent in an old abandoned church at the end of the street. Adanai was ten blocks away from home but her coat was soaking wet and her red shoe so close to breaking made her realize that wouldn't last two blocks. Cold and curious, she ran to the to the cobble stone building, pushed against the heavy wooden door and s**t it behind her. For a moment she was surrounded by complete darkness, then slowly her vision became clear with the help of a little moonlit peeping through a broken window from the clouds. Mice and rats run in all directions as she slowly made her way the door on the other side of the room. She constantly looked behind, feeling more and more uncomfortable. As she reached for the door knob, she wondered about the movements she saw from outside the church. She opened the door to what looked like a kitchen. In the distance through the misty air, she saw 4 or 5 small lit lamps. There were people wearing black cloaks speaking in low tones. Adanai tired to make out what the were saying but she either could her them because of the rain or because the weren't speaking english... Which ever one it is, she wanted to find what was happening there. Slowly she tip toed out of the back door on to an open field. When she got closer, she hid behind a surprisingly large rock to listen better. She tired listening to the strange people through the rain, at first she got nothing. After a well she started the recognize the language they spoke in, she suddenly ran as fast as she could. She ran through the kitchen into the big hall. The wooden door was now guarded by two men. With now way out she ran back to the kitchen in search of a knife. By this time she was surrounded by the cloaked group. After finding one, she held in to her throat. She knew what was going on her, she knew what they were trying to do. Memories of her past flood her brain as she cried. She knew what was to come and she knew she was now apart of it again. "You know, don't you..."
