I wasn't to bear the feeling of untightness in my own house. Had myself derive a little more distance from her. I would go to and from school on my own, spend most of my time with James or at the school library which had turned into my dungeon now. It was already two weeks and things had flamed less. I thought that maybe she was over the I love you issue. It was on an evening cold Saturday when we both headed to Janice's birthday party that was held at her house. We played many games at the party that didn't really seem to amaze me and more so the bottle spinning game that had a kiss for solution. James was so polite to help spin the bottle for all. First, it pointed to Janice and Dalton and they kissed for a few seconds. Then again Janice and James. It went spinning around about several times until it spotted me. To my miserable luck, it pointed to Angela who smirked at me at the sight of it. To be more precise, the fee for failure to kiss your opponent was a hundred dollars and I had non with me. If only I did, I would have paid the fine but I hand no choice. I was terrifyingly nervous and everyone was staring at us both cheering. "Kiss, Kiss, Kiss." Repeatedly and annoying. Angela then neatly crawled in-front of me staring straight in my eyes. I was trembling to my toes. Her eyes then closed slowly and in a little moment, felt her lips an inch less on mine. I was speeding inside, my mind scattering and thoughts rambling, I returned the kiss. I was lost in the moment that I would say we kissed for about a minute when I turned to my senses and pulled out from her lips. Then turned to the others who were staring and commending to what had just happened. In a beat looking surprised, they all cheered at once making it less of a big deal. I went relaxed and the spinning continued. Around and around it went until again it spotted me. I fancied to know who it was it pointed too but rather-ed not to stare. I sent my eyes below the ground when I felt someone sniff close to me. I sighed on the clarity that it was a boy who I heard but disappointed when I raised my eyes and It was Dalton. Despite his cuteness, he wasn't a guy i fancied to share a kiss with. In a beat, they again cheered "Kiss, kiss, kiss." I glued to the ground and waited for it to end. Dalton's met my lips in a second and during the moment, I failed to close my eyes to settle in when I glanced at Angela who returned the favor for a second and then rose to descend the room. Her behavior was obvious to everyone extending to the fact that Janice pulled Dalton from me assuming to prevent the confusion. But I didn't move a step to where I was seated. I kept my post and assured myself that It would be for a better cause. I kept in the gaming and rather-ed to stop thinking of Angela which was so impossible. I was keeping myself together when Dalton came to me with a stingy smile that I shewed away but not caring, he insisted to stay. Picking his doubled mind, he went. "I would like to apologize for bagging you in school. Really... am sorry." "Its okay." I replied. "all that is in my past." "Okay then... can we be friends... or more?" He assumed which i fancied to think of after all that was going on with me. I needed a distraction. "Sure. Friend!" I laid out and we both shook hands. The party was still continuing and I wasn't spotting Angela anywhere. It was around midnight when we were asked to live by Janice's parents. I then snapped to recall Angela. We all headed out to get home but I couldn't find the car I came in so i thought maybe she got bored and headed home. I tried looking for James to give me a ride but he had already left as well. In a while as I stood all confused. Dalton's Rover parked in-front of me. He lowed the window and asked if he could give me a ride. I agreed to it without a thought and by half past midnight, I was at the entrance of my house but couldn't spot Angela's car which usually packed outside the garage. "Sorry to bother you Dalton but can you give me a ride forward next street." I asked. "No problem... but that place has only the weird warehouse... what are you going to do there?" He asked. "Just take me off there.. am meeting someone." "As you say." He drove fast and in a while, I was standing outside the warehouse. I thanked him for the ride and watch him head on past the lights before I knocked on the door. "Hey Angela. I know your in there. I see your car behind the house." I banged. It took quite a while. I was though convinced that she wasn't really inside when the door rolled up. "What do you want?" She asked heading back to the table. "Why did you leave the party?" "I was bored and not comfortable. I wanted to paint so I left." "No..." i claimed closing her book when i glance a drawing that I was sure it was me. " i don't believe you." I then tried to open the book again but she stopped me. I insisted on seeing the drawing. So I pulled the book away from her. On opening, my heart started beating fast and I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I opened page to page and each one had an image of me with a date on it. Ones where we had never seen eye to eye. Every single page. Those with me at school, in my cheer-leading classes and those in ballet.
