In a few minutes, I was out again to get Angela inside the house. Still calmly seated in the car, I sprang her from the dreadful thoughts she was lost in. "Let's head inside." I said, grabbing her back pack from the trunk, and we ascended in. Angela's mother was in the kitchen preparing the two cups of coffee she owed her. "Hey Angie, my dear, come on." She raised her arms wide for Angela to win a hug. "Since you can't escape this house now," It's better you pay your debt. " Mom admitted to trying to cheer up the saddest of them all. "Let's all have coffee together." "Let's all have coffee together." I said I was throwing myself on the coach to bunch in on mom's plan. So what do you think? Will you have coffee with us?" Mom laid out a big plate of cookies at the table with three cups of coffee. "Mom! Cookies? Seriously? " I pointed this out as a reminder to her of how much I hated eating cookies in front of people. Mostly the ones she usually purchased. Very solid and crumbly. "Well, sweetheart. Cookies are all we have had today since I served coffee. I decide what we snack on. Alright! " She jokingly said she was passing by the table to pick up some Oreo biscuits for me. "Thank you." I grabbed the pack, watching Angela smirking at us. "Know what, Ms. Daniels? I will have whatever Kathryn doesn't want to have. I will eat the cookies. " Angela picked a line as she sat down next to me. Then In a bit, Mom came and fixed herself between the two of us. "You, Angie, are now part of this home. part of my care. You stay with me until we figure out things. Mom sweetly cleared the "And school. I have to find a job for myself in order to continue studying. She responded. "No dear. Nothing like a job for you. You should go to school every single day and not worry. Me and my husband will work out stuff for your better life. Okay, sweetheart. " "Thank you, Ms. Daniels." She sobbed in surprise as to how my mom treated her welcome. "You're welcome. Now, please, can we stop this sadness and start with the coffee. " I grinned. "Sure." We spent about an hour chatting with mom. About school. We found ourselves up so late, well past midnight. Still lost in every entertaining conversation, we laughed about knowing the next day was actually a weekend and mostly one of the best days because we were around the house. Saturday, as known to most. No school! No mean boys or girls! Overall for me. That's what I call the best. "Oh my God! look at the time. I have work tomorrow. Angie. Let me show you to your room. " Mom swung us both from our ignorance. "Don't worry, mom. I will do that. Go rest since her room is right across from mine. "Good night. " We all kissed goodnight and still took the stairs together. Mom branched off to her room, opening the door wide where I saw that dad had already taken the dream train. "This way." I directed Angela to fix the key inside the lock to open it. Not to envy, but all the guest rooms were the most gorgeous rooms except my mom's. I took the bag in and wished her a good night. rolled into my room, which was just six steps away from Angela's. I had to freshen up since I hadn't done it yet, then slid into the sheets. I had barely slept that morning when Mom's loud alarm woke me up from a dream I couldn't remember at the time. That was really the last thing I wanted to hear that day. To my watch, it was five in the morning, and my bad for being a light sleeper because I couldn't pick up from where I was at all. I rushed and went down the stairs to help make mom's breakfast. She was in a hurry, but to my notice, she was in control of everything. I was just watching her busy like I always am during the weekdays, and luckily for her, she works on weekends. "Good morning, mom." I startled her. "Good morning, honey. Don't tell me. Did it wake up again? " "Well yeah... it did and I couldn't sleep again. " said I taking a seat next to her. "I should get earpieces so I and only I could here it. Yet I wonder. Your dad doesn't turn a finger whose head is just at the clock." She grinned. "Well dad is something else we both know that." "Good morning." A voice shock mom and I. "Angela!" I surprisingly wondered. "Well I had you both and thought that you usually wake this early." "No no sweetie. I work on weekends and she was woken by my alarm. If you care for an explanation. " "Yeah Angela. You should go rest. We slept late. You deserve it." "Well am awake already and I really don't think I can gain my slept back." She said. "See Angela. We... got something in common." I smirked. "I will have to live you too girls. Have a great day. I will be back as soon as I find myself free from all the work I possess at hand right now." "Have a great day mom." I peeked her. "Great day ms. Daniels." Looking as mom locked the door behind her. "So. Some coffee then a tour around the house?" I asked. "Surely I will need it." "Then just head on here and join me. I'm well... eating Oreo and coffee. Want some." "Sure. Luckily I brushed first before taking the stairs."
