When She Cries...

Chapter Three

His body changed into a floating man in Smokey shadows and He had horns coming out of his head. I was trembling with fear, instantly I rolled away from the bed and Efiri swiped his hands out towards me. I just got to the door and I was dragged up into his chest, I felt his arms around my waist and I was shaking in fear.

"My little firebird. Mine. Mine. Mine..." His voice was distorted and that made it worse. He began to rub his horns on my neck. "We are mates and I won't be denied that which is mine. We will be together in all ways even if I have to break you in the process, my little one..."

I have been trying to calm Efiri down for the last hour and his form had stayed as his demon, I just need to eat and go to the toilet, but I am afraid that he will throw a tantrum if I move right now. I have been thinking about what happened before and came to the realization that I was being naive and I don't know what had upset him, I am a human and he is a demon after all. The only issue is that we don't understand each other properly yet. I lift my right hand to stroke his right cheek, but his colossal hand engulfed my wrist so he could bring my hand up so my fingers are touching his right horn. They felt like I was touching bone china, I was completely captivated by the sensation of touching him.

I felt ashamed of how I had acted and I realized he was completely committed to me, us, but I had rejected him outright. Maybe I don't deserve Efiri...

"I have been thinking about what happened before and I have decided that I'm going to give you a chance to date-" I was cut off by him squeezing me tighter and he sniffed my neck. Efiri changed back and I watched the shadows evaporate around him, I physically relaxed in his arms that had remained around my waist.

"I will try to give you a chance to explain your culture to me, but, my little firebird, you will have to make some compromise on my absolute needs, or you will have to answer to my elders. They will not allow you to remain not fully claimed by me." His voice was calm and that made me feel uneasy about what that entailed.

"What do you mean by claiming me fully?" I felt like my heart was beating way too fast in anticipation for his answer.

When the doors flung open I was shock to see a woman standing there in revealing clothes that clung to her body. I was watching in silence while I felt shocked and astonishment. "Honey, I am back and your father send his regard for you..." She looked up and our eyes met, tears well up in my eyes I'm such a fool all men are the same... 

"Let me go you f*****g two timing selfish asshole! You are disgusting and I hate you so much! I hope you have a good time with her because I am not staying here anymore!" I just got free and Iam dashing out of the bedroom into the sitting room, I tried all but one of the unopened doors and the last one led outside, I saw a road with a forest around it, i ran out to the road.

It was hard to see through my tears so it should come as no surprise that I accidentally tripped on something, I braced myself for the fall but it never came. I opened my eyes and saw woman from beforehand holding my wrist. I could hear something roaring and loud crashes coming from the house, it sounded like something was trying to claw it's way outside. "Little girl, you can't see how wrong you are about what was happening back there."

"How about you leave me alone? And how could I trust you? I don't know you!" I wail in despair and the woman let me go as she stepped backing. "You know what? YOU can have him!"
