The Man by the Sea (Part 1)
Southern Italy, Tropea Beach. Also known as "The Coast of the Gods."
Shen Hua stood by the sea in Tropea. Although she had seen countless beautiful sights, she was still shocked by the view before her.
How beautiful was it? The sea was a gem-like azure blue, with majestic cliffs, steep houses perched on the hillsides, and a colorful garden by the sea. It was an unadorned, natural beauty, a magnificent combination of mountains and water, with vibrant colors.
Before seeing this coastline with her own eyes, Shen Hua couldn't understand why it was called "The Coast of the Gods." Now, the coastline explained the origin of the name with its unique charm.
Serene, peaceful, sparsely populated, it was more suitable for gods than the wealthy cities of northern Italy. It was truly a paradise for tourists and vacationers.
The vast view and the color of the ocean lifted her spirits. Gazing at the beautiful sea, two words came to Shen Hua's mind: boundless and eternal.
Unfortunately, her good mood didn't last long—she had wandered into a hidden nude beach.
It wasn't the first time she had seen a nude beach, but deep down, Shen Hua still held the modesty and shyness of a Chinese person. She couldn't understand why people would strip naked and bury themselves in the sand. Perhaps she was too conservative; even after living abroad for more than ten years, she still felt uncomfortable in such situations.
However, seeing this wasn't what ruined her mood. She would never strip naked under the open sky herself, and what others did was none of her business. She certainly wouldn't suddenly start scolding them for affecting others' enjoyment of the view... In short, she saw it, turned around, and left.
The problem was, as she was about to leave, an Asian man stopped her.
"Cool, let's play together." This man, shorter than Shen Hua, spoke awkward English with eyes full of lust, exhibiting his perversion to the fullest.
Worse still, this man's body showed a reaction, and seeing this, Shen Hua's face turned as black as the bottom of a pot. As he tried to get closer, she reflexively punched him.
She forgot to mention that besides her love for traveling, Shen Hua had two other hobbies: racing and Muay Thai.
Both racing and Muay Thai required strength. Shen Hua's physical strength far exceeded that of an average young woman. She had been practicing Muay Thai for seven years. Even though she held back half of her strength, the remaining half was still quite powerful. The perverted man's face visibly deformed, and blood streamed from his nose. Any perverse thoughts were dispelled by Shen Hua's heavy blow.
Shen Hua gave him a cold glance and walked away.
Only ten meters away, the man, clutching his nose and pretending to be dead, sinisterly muttered a few words: "***" (baishunfu - not a nice term, don't learn it).
Setting aside the unpleasant p*****t, Shen Hua decided to blacklist the nude beach area she had just visited. Even if she wanted to walk on the beach, she wouldn't go there again.
Shen Hua walked slowly along the coastline, enjoying the carefree life without worries or thoughts. Unfortunately, she had forgotten to bring a camera to capture the beautiful scenery.
She walked slowly, gradually distancing herself from the noisy crowd, arriving at the foot of a low cliff.
Hopefully, no one was "getting busy" here, or she might want to take revenge on society.
Just as she thought this, she saw a naked person half-lying in the sea...
Could the world get any worse?
Was it not a good day to go out? Why did she keep seeing such eye-burning scenes?
But then Shen Hua's irritation turned to concern. The naked person was covered in wounds. At first glance, she didn't notice, but as she turned to leave, her excellent eyesight allowed her to see the injuries and the faint smell of blood mixed with the salty sea air.
Could it be... murder and corpse disposal?
Shen Hua gasped, stepping back. A crime scene was far more serious than an erotic one. She came to Italy for the scenery, not to see corpses!
No, she couldn't be sure it was a corpse yet.
Reason returned the next second. Shen Hua had no phone and couldn't contact the Italian police. She surveyed the surroundings. If the "corpse" had been injured and left here, when did it happen? Was the perpetrator still nearby? She had to ensure there was no danger.
Seeing no one else around and no hiding places nearby, Shen Hua didn't relax. She cautiously approached the "corpse," noticing his faintly rising chest.
He was still alive!
Shen Hua wasn't a saint, but any decent person wouldn't ignore a barely breathing person lying on the ground.
The person's skin had a rare pearly white sheen. Many skincare products advertised pearl-like white skin, but in reality, it had an eerie feel. His golden hair covered most of his face, but the exposed chin was a nice shape, though Shen Hua felt something was missing.
Stubble!
A man, about 1.9 meters tall, even if still growing, shouldn't have such a clean-shaven chin.
Puzzled, Shen Hua reached out to move his hair. As soon as she touched it, the seemingly lifeless person grabbed her arm with lightning speed.
His golden hair fell away, revealing a pair of sea-blue eyes filled with cold and murderous intent. The usually bold Shen Hua was scared by the snake-like dangerous gaze.
Fear arose, her heart raced, and she felt dizzy and nauseous, just like motion sickness on a plane.
Besides dizziness and nausea, her consciousness blurred. Her veins seemed forcefully widened, as if about to explode... and she felt on the brink of death.
Was she going to die?
