Chapter 44 - Getting Ready
The evening of the Charity Ball had finally arrived and Alexa had been working hard into the evening, even after officially resigning from the personal assistant position, working for Dante. As she always did, Alexa wanted the night to go off without a hitch. She had just enough time to get herself ready before she would be expected to make an appearance alongside Dante himself. Luckily, Dante had surprised Alexa by having the foresight to book out the Presidential Suite on the top floor of the St. Regis for the entire evening. The entire suite, just for the two of them. It would give them both the chance to enjoy themselves while at the Charity Ball, but also allow her to get herself ready without worrying about making it on time with the busy traffic down below.
