It has taken me a long time to put pen to paper. And even longer to hit the publish button. This story has been playing out in my mind for a really long time. I have been hesitant about going through with it, because I am not quite sure how it will be received.
I really hope that it will be seen for what it is. A tribute to love, second chances and eternal optimism.
This is a story aimed at those eternal optimists out there. Those with one foot firmly planted in reality and the other foot dangling ever so haphazardly in fantasy. For those of us who have not given up entirely on the notions of Neverland, Santa Claus and the Toothfairy, this shouldn't be too much of a stretch of the imagination. And even if it is, we still remain optimistic.
I really hope that you enjoy reading it, as much as I have enjoyed writing it.
