There’s something about waking up in the morning that’s so bittersweet. One minute you’re cranky because that means your peace is ending and you have to step back out into the real world again. Another part of you feels grateful to see the day. With that thought, I open my eyes to see Hope isn't sleeping beside me anymore. She fell asleep in our room last night, but I guess she moved to her room in the middle of the night. When I roll over Dominic's eyes meet mine and I close mine again. "Good Morning."
"Good Morning. I don't want to get up."
"Well then don't."
"I gotta pee. And I am starting to get hungry." I turn over laughing. He better not pee in this bed, I know
