CHAPTER 2

Prince Mark was fuming as he walked towards his mother's room in the huge palace. All the servants scuttled out of his way afraid of receiving the shorter end of the stick from the angry Crown Prince.

The guards standing at the Queen's chamber quickly bowed before him and greeted him a little loudly to announce his presence to Luna Erica.

Ignoring the guards, Prince Mark went into his mothers chamber. He saw his mother surrounded by her friends.

"Leave us…now", he ordered as he sat close to his mother.

The ladies all bowed and scurried out of the room. No one wishes to be on the bad side of Prince Mark.

"Son, why are you so grumpy? Who dares offend the crown prince?", Luna Erica asked as she drew closer to her son to soothe him.

"Who else but that bastard? That wolfless daughter of a w***e. I just hate her…her presence makes my blood boil. I wonder why father still keeps her around. It's been two years prior to the time she was supposed to shift. She's useless and still claiming royalty. I wish I could just strangle her", Prince Mark was fuming with anger.

"Calm down son. Tell me what happened so I can know what to do with that ungrateful trash", Luna Erica said. She walked towards a jug on a decorated table.

She poured water into a glass cup before handing it out to the angry prince. She had heard from the servants how that brat denied calling her son the Alpha. She is becoming more brazen, thought the queen.

"Can you imagine her calling me by my name? When I told her to address me as Alpha, she told me I am not the Alpha. That I am the same as her. She compared herself to me. I wanted to strangle her to death that instant if not that father suddenly appeared", Prince Mark said.

His mother halted her movement for just a few seconds before she sat down elegantly on a cushion close to her son.

"Your father came to her rescue? What did he say?", His mother asked as she poured herself a glass of water.

"Couldn't hear anything as he sent me to the training ground. Mother, I hate seeing that trash in this Park. Can't we do something so she leaves forever?", He asked dejectedly.

"Don't worry son, she will leave very soon. It's either she leaves the park or she leaves permanently. I will make sure she leaves very soon, only then would my anger be pacified", Luna Erica said with an evil smirk.

Even the Moon Goddess seems to favor her. That's why the daughter of her archenemy became an unshifted werewolf. How pathetic! But before that girl leaves the park, she is going to make her life a living hell.

"Where's Pamela? Has she gone back to her kingdom?", Luna Erica asked her son whose face suddenly lit up at the mention of his mate.

Pamela was Prince Mark's mate. She had curly golden hair that fell down to her waist. She had an oval -shaped face and eyes that sparkled like stars at night. She is a beautiful princess pampered and spoiled by her parents.

Mark and her had been together for almost five years. They met five years after Mark's shifting ceremony which was held on his eighteen years birthday.

It was Pamela's shifting ceremony too. Her brother had invited Mark, he honored his invitation though reluctantly. Their pack was a smaller one who decided to swear allegiance to the Black Moon Pack and to gain their favor, they decided to invite the crown prince to their Princess shifting ceremony.

Fortunately for them,the Moon Goddess decided to pair the crown prince and the Princess as mates. The pack was overjoyed because they will be binded by marriage if the crown prince accepts her as a mate.

He vividly remembered her scent. It was more like a coconut fruit. His wolf, Iris, was instantly drawn to her. Even her wolf, Adrienne, couldn't resist him either.

That night they couldn't wait to make it official before they mated together and he marked her . Since then, they have been inseparable. They planned to get married immediately when he takes over as an Alpha from his father.

"She is fine, mom. She hasn't gone back yet. I think she intends to spend the summer holiday with us. She has already written to her parents", Prince Mark said with a smile.

"Really? That would be nice, sweetheart. And she would be our perfect plan to punish that ungrateful brat. You know how much she hates Elise", Luna Erica said with a chuckle.

"But mom, I don't understand how Pamela can be of help. You know she is not yet a member of the Royal family. Even though my father is disappointed with Elise, he wouldn't want a wolf from another pack to trample on his daughter. Mom, do you think it will work?"Mark asked.

"I will take care of your father. Just make Pamela create more opportunities to deal with that trash. It should not be a hard thing to do right? Do you understand?", Luna Erica said.

"I understand mother, don't worry. This is going to be one of the worst summers ever for that wolfless trash", Prince Mark said with an evil grin", I will take my leave, mother".

Luna Erica sat down with her eyes closed after her son had left the room. Memories of the past came rushing in.

Luna Erica could never forget the day she found out her husband had cheated with one of the servants and…she was pregnant. She knew her husband was ambitious but never knew he would go this far.

How could she accept her husband's infidelity? But sadly, Erica had no choice because her husband wanted a female child. To gain more power, he even had to resort to cheating on her.

She held her hand as she suddenly had a serious aching. She took some pills before lying on the bed.

She had to do something to get rid of that wolfless girl.
