“My head!” I screamed out in pain as I woke up, I placed my hands over my head, checking for any sign of blood but there was none.
That was so f*****g close.
But why did he hit me? All I asked for was my mother’s files, why did he knock me out?
My eyes suddenly trailed the room where I was lying and a smell filled my nostril.
There was a familiar smell. I rose from my seat and walked towards the corner of the room to flip the light. My jaw dropped, my eyes widened, and horror spread over my face.
I was in my old room in the house where I grew up with my mother sister and father.
What was I doing here?
How did I end up here?
I felt chills all over my body, my heart began to rise, and beads of sweat plastered on my forehead.
