A Christmas wish

having a quite time while watching dramas could be seen as a good thing or a good way to relax for most people but unlike any other person it was not for Lu Zhao as he watched the drama with a complicated expression, literally. by this time of the the year a lot of of people should be camping or somewhere celebrating their Christmas night with their love ones, but it was never like that for Lu Zhao. this Christmas night should be two years since his parents died in a car accident, though being only seventeen Lu Zhao could boost that he has all that he need based on monetary aspect but still yet he felt lonely. beep!! beep!!, Lu Zhao felt his phone vibrate as he picked it up to check who it was, looking at the message, Lu Zhao could only feel more saddened as he forced out a smile, it was a video message of secretary Jiang with his family wishing him merry Christmas. at first Lu Zhao felt that it won't hurt giving all the employees a leave including his maids and Butler, but unlike he expected he now knows how deserted the house is without the maids, apart from the sound coming from the television, the house was as quite as a grave yard. I guess it was not really the best idea letting Butler Cao go also, Lu Zhao muttered to himself, but just then Lu Zhao heard a noise that sound as if somebody shattered a glass upstairs as he became alarmed. after hearing the sound Lu Zhao steadied himself as he slowly walks up the stairs knowing that since none of the maid is around that the noise could only mean that somebody broke into the house. on getting up Lu Zhao could heard the sound of a person talking as the voice said in a very low voice that he wouldn't have heard if he was not just separated from the man by a door as he could confirm that who ever must have break in is a man based on voice. I am already in, it only remains sending the guy to heaven so I will like to receive a part payment now. on hearing this Lu Zhao stuttered back as he try to move down the stairs and bring his phone, but then he noticed that the man seems to have noticed him as the voice came to an abrupt stop. while scurrying it find his way downstairs, Lu Zhao noticed that the man has already noticed him, immediately he increase his movement as he quickly rush down the stairs. on getting down Lu Zhao darted for his phone as he heard steps that shows that the man is already running downstairs, f**k Lu Zhao muttered as he immediately dashed towards the kitchen in search of any object that he could use for protection. while still searching, Lu Zhao could hear the sound of the footstep more closely as he found out that the man has already found his way down the stairs. while still scrambling to find a weapon, Lu Zhao can't help causing out, it wouldn't have been like this if the servants are around or if he has made out time to enter the kitchen once in a while before, he would have know where object like knives and other are kept without searching. just as Lu Zhao found a frying pan he noticed that the footstep is already approaching the kitchen, so without waiting Lu Zhao ducked behind a cupboard as he got ready to bash the man hard once he come close to the cupboard. bang Lu Zhao heard the kitchen door gave way by force as he heard the step walking into the kitchen. Lu Zhao slowly peep through a hole as he saw a man on a all black attire. I know you are hiding here so be a good kid and come put now, at least I can consider and make it real quick, Lu Zhao heard the man speak as he edged close to the cupboard. seeing that the man was already coming closer to the cupboard, Lu Zhao tightly gripped at the frying pan handle as he readied himself. just as Lu Zhao got Read to take action both him and the man heard the sound of somebody forcefully opening his door. hearing the sound of the the door forcefully opened, Lu Zhao noticed that the man on all black attire seem to be walking back to the sitting room as he can't help muttering to himself if it can it get more bad than this. outside the house Bai Lan Ling after ringing the bell for sometime without getting any reply decided to vent out her frustration by hitting at the door , literally today has not really been going well for her, first she lost one of her jobs since she does multiple jobs in other to support her family and raise enough money for her education and second she just receive a call telling her that her mother has been hospitalized. though this is festive period she still need to work and has even go further ahead to sweet talk the manager knowing that she will make quite a bit if she could be the one to make the delivery. though it was hard convincing the manager, Bai Lan Ling still succeeded and know she can't believe that after all this that nobody will be at home to receive the delivery. what sort of f****d up luck is this, Bai Lan Ling cursed as she tried to vent her frustration on the door by hitting at it but unlikely for her the door was never locked so it gave way with a bang sound. what sort of hard luck is this, Bai Lan Ling muttered as she tried to close back the door but noticed a man on all black attire coming towards the door. though the man attire was was quite a bit off since the man was wearing a mask and cap while still in the house, Bai Lan Ling gave no heed to such details as she now cancelled the thought of closings the door and now comes in.
