TAKING REVENGE ON MY HUSBAND

CHAPTER THREE

Caren heard her phone buzz on the table, reaching for it, it was Yen, “hey babe” yen said from over the phone,

“I’m cool” , Caren said as she sat on the edge of her bed

“You don’t sound cool, what’s up babe , is it your mum again”,

“Yen, pls don’t say that, I know my mum can be a pain in the neck, but she isn’t that bad”

“She is Caren, she is that bad!… anyway whatever the problem is you can tell me over at the club”

“Club!”

“Yes boo, we are going clubbing!!!” Yen screamed from over the phone.

“Oh well, I really need that, some extra booze and some chiselled ass guys” Caren giggled

“You see, I knew that would cheer you up, anyway, it was Reggie’s idea”

“Babes, common, I don’t want to be some tag along” Caren replied, laying on the bed. Reggie and Yen have been together since highschool, they were childhood friends, with their parents being friends first, then Reggie and Yen falling in love with themselves. Caren believed they might even end up getting married someday because they both went to colleg together, did crazy stuff together and were madly in love with each other. But sometimes Caren always felt like she was a third wheel or a tag along, but yen being never made her feel alone just because she had a boyfriend and her friend didn't. Sometimes Caren wondered how Yen became so lucky and she was unlucky with guys. Yen was the only one who knew about the incident with Marcus and Caren knew she would always be grateful to ten for how she stood by her after the whole incident.

“Babes, you are not some tag along, you are my best friend and you don’t sound good, getting your coochie wet might do you some good” Yen laughter resounded from the phone.

“You are crazy, do you know how sick all this one night stand can be?, next thing these guys be asking for my number like I want something serious with them” Caren laughs

“For real boo, do you remember the incident with one of your dad’s business associates?, it was crazy!!!”

“I felt like disappearing into thin air, it was so embarrassing, but damn babe the man was good, did I tell you we had a quickie here in my house”

“What!!!… Caren!!!… how and when, I thought you didn’t recognize the man”

“Oh well, at first when I saw him with my dad, I didn’t , he even mentioned my name, I still didn’t recognize him, so I left. He bumped into me in the kitchen, and tried some moves, you know what I mean right” Caren giggled

“You are so rotten babes, I really need the full gist”

Caren rolled on the bed as she narrated her encounter with Mr Drew. They met at a club where she had a one night stand with him inside his car. It all started when Yen and Reggie invited her to the club, they were all over each other so she had to excuse herself and get some shots at the bar stand, that’s where Mr Drew approached her, although she knew that he was twice her age, she admired him. She thought he looked like an older version of Henry Cavill, but this one had longer curly hair, blue eyes and his suit was tighter than usual on him.

“Good evening sir” Caren said, raising her glass to him as he sat on the bar stool, facing her, with an incredibly charming smile.

“Pls!, drop the sir, my name is Mr Drew or just call me Drew”, he said ,taking Caren's hand and planting a kiss on it.

“A beautiful girl like you shouldn’t be here alone, I sighted you with your friends, seems like they left you to have all the fun alone,uh?”. Caren and Mr Drew looked over at Yen and Reggie’s table and they were still drooling over each other, that’s when she knew she was stuck with Drew, she didn’t mind since he was a fine man. The event that followed was Caren ending up at the back of Mr Drew’s car, and riding him like her life depended on it.

The next morning after the incident she didn’t remember him, she was also excited that he didn't ask for her contact, so she thought she would never see him again. But on a Friday evening, two weeks after that day, her dad comes home with a business associate who happened to be Mr Drew. At first she didn’t recognize Mr drew even when he called her name as soon as she walked into the sitting room to greet her dad she still didnot know he was the one.

“You must be Caren, have we met before?” Mr Drew said as eyed Caren cunningly, with a smirk on her face, Caren leaned to her father to give him a peck.

“Dad you are here, I’ve missed you, i was thinking of coming to see you at the office”, Caren said, she walked up close to where Mr Drew sat and extended her hand for a shake.

“I don’t think we have met, dad who is he?”

“He is one of my top share holders in the company. Mr drew you say you have met my daughter before, are you sure she is the one?” Mr lewis said staring at Mr Drew.

“Oh, I’m sure she has been to one of my ranches, saw her riding one of my horses really hard, and she looked like she really enjoyed it”, Mr Drew smiled at Carennot taking his eyes from her.

Caren pulled her hand from Mr drew “Dad I think I have to go, I need to fix something for dinner, haven’t had anything solid all day, are you going to be here for long, I could fix up something for you” Caren said as she walked slowly away from them.

“Uh, No cupcake, Mr drew and I would soon head out, no need for that” Mr Lewis replied.
