Clueless paws
Dex, the werewolf prince. His father is the most powerful werewolf of all the werewolves living in their hidden forest. The royal family of him had him clueless. He was forbidden by his father to go near humans or else something terrible will happen. Dex mother and older brother died without him knowing. His father told him that they went to meet humans and get killed right after.
His thoughts let him wonder why is he forbidden when he’s on his right age to do such things. He keeps on wondering with his paws around the forest when he’s bored and overthinking. One day, his father asked him to look for meat since they were out of stocks already. Dex and his father went in seperate ways for an easier search for meat. Dex kept running but still keep on thinking about different thoughts about himself.
“why did mom died when he only interacted with humans without doing such thing?”
He unconsciously asked himself. As he kept on running, he was too stunned to speak when he heard footsteps.
“where am I?” He whispered.
He transformed himself into a human and he was so scared when someone approached him.
“Are you okay?” a stranger asked.
“y-yes”…
“Why don’t you have clothes on you?,are you lost?” he help Dex to stand up and brought him on his place.
“Where am I?Do you have meat? We were out of stocks already and I’ll be dead if I bring home nothing” Dex said.
“Yes, wait me here. I’ll give you something to eat and go share it with your dad”
The stranger left him and then he wondered where was he. He stood up and looked at the window. He was shocked on what he saw
“H-UMANS?!?”
He calmed himself and sat down.
“What am I doing here?How did I got here? I have to go home, Dad’s gonna kill me!”
He then stood up but when he’s about to open the door,the stranger went in.
“Where are you going? aren’t you asking for meat? here,have some steak”
“what’s a steak?” he whisper himself confused.
“Ahhh, thankyouu! I’ll eat that with dad” Dex forcely smiled.
The stranger thanked him as well for trusting him. He let Dex go outside and waved him goodbye.
While dex is walking away. He then realized that humans are kind. They are similar to werewolves in different ways.The only difference is that werewolves eat raw foods and can turn into two different appearance.
“Hi!”
Dex eyes widened when he saw this girl who approached him.
“How do I help you pretty boy?”
“my feelings, my senses are stronger, more powerful. My sense of hearing especially became more powerful. I could hear sounds I had never heard before. I heard sounds from heaven; and I heard the beating of my heart”.
“Excuse me? Did I scared you? Are you new here? By the way, I’m Sam! I used to help people in this village and you are?”
“I’m Dex”.
She winked and went away. Dex continued to walked. He then realized the purpose why he’s forbidden to interact with humans, he’ll fell inlove with someone whom he can never live with,someone who can’t love him the same way he does, and someone isn’t a werewolf like he is.
