Noah’s POV Waking up the next morning, the house is silent, light is barely visible through the c***k in the curtains to the right of the bed, and as I roll over onto my side, the clock informs me that it’s a quarter to five. Groaning out loud, I roll onto my back, throwing my arm over my eyes as I attempt to fall back to sleep again. I close my eyes, and I force my muscles to start to relax, waiting for unconsciousness to take me, but instead, Daisy’s words from last night, the guilt she has about her dad hit me once more. Her stricken expression, the grief in her eyes as she admitted how terrible she felt for not being here when her dad passed away are forefront in my mind.
