Daisy’s POV I wake up to light streaming in my window from the gap left in my curtains, and a cold, empty space beside me that proves that no one has been there for a couple of hours at least. For a moment, I think I dreamt last night, but the bottle of pain medication beside me and the terrible pain that is now throbbing in my head soon lets me know that it was all very, very real. I roll over, the pain in my head overshadowed by the ache between my legs, the reminder that driving off the road was not the only thing I did last night. My gaze roams over the other side of the bed, that is neatly made, covers pulled up to the pillow that is carefully plumped and straightened. Noah is gone, I assume he left for work while I was still asleep, not wanting to wake me. A stab of disappointme
