Noah’s POV ‘Why are you here?’ the pure confusion in her voice is what makes me turn around to face her, it’s as though she fully expected me to be gone, was I supposed to be? Why am I here? I could have left this morning when I woke up, and she was still sleeping peacefully. I could have left after I jumped in the shower and washed properly before redonning her father’s sweat pants as I had nothing else to put on, my clothes still in the washer waiting to be moved to the dryer. I could have left after feeding her damn cat, leaving a note beside her on the bedside table telling her I’d done so along with a drink and some food that wouldn’t spoil, but I didn’t.
