Be Alert Pt. 3

            I opened my eyes, “It’s a little hard to control my possessive side right now. Every f*****g time I turn around some asshole says they are going to take her from me and mark her.” Alpha Theo and Lux snarled. Lux held out his hand, “I swear to you, that won’t happen Alexander. She’s gone through enough. Our pack will be looking right beside you if someone took her. Though, your girl is fierce….and she was insanely loyal to you before she met you. I’d imagine it’s only increased since. She even though you hated her and I could not get a single flirty smile out of the girl.” I snorted, “Fair enough.” Alpha Theo sighed, “Let’s go get this business with Claire over with.” My dad smiled, “Oh, that’s her name anymore, Alpha Theo.” Lux laughed and Alpha Theo clapped his hands, “Do tell what your mate has named her.” My dad smirked, “Clairatigan.” Alpha Theo threw his head back. Lux snorted, “How fitting.” His eyes were filled with anger. We stepped out and walked over to our office. Ethan was waiting. My dad asked, “Aren’t you supposed to be with Claire?” Ethan paused then started laughing, “Ummm Haley sent me over here.” My dad groaned, “Fuck.” Alpha Theo shrugged, “I’m more than happy to let your wife kill Claire. We want no quarrel with you or Ash...Melanie.” 

                Dylan burst into the room, “Ahh, my people. Alpha Theo, we call her MelAshley around here.” Lux smirked. I snorted, “Just you. You’re literally the only person that calls her that.” Dylan smiled, “But I am right. Alpha Theo even tolerates my presence now. Where is Beta James?” Alpha Theo was tense but not angry. He said, “We left him at home.” Dylan sighed, “A shame. I do so love talking to him. He has more details. Though a little birdie told me...Clairatigan tried to get your second oldest son to get her released. Seems she’s not too smart on the uptake. I mean she broke the poor boy’s heart.” Lux snarled, “SHE DID WHAT TO MY BROTHER?! How would she even see him?” Alpha Theo sighed, “He was visiting the pack member that got hurt during the rogue attack. She called out begging him to help her for their time together. If she meant anything to him ever blah, blah, blah.” Lux slammed his hand on the table, “That wretched b***h needs to stay away from my little brother! She’s done enough.” Haley popped in, “No need to worry Lux. She won’t bother him ever again.” My dad snorted, “Angel, you already killed her?” Haley snorted, “No, no. I did not. She’s just not here anymore.” 

                I smirked, “Who took her?” My mom smiled, “Your Uncle.” EJ laughed, “Which one?” My mom rolled her eyes, “Your Uncle Aiden. He said it’s not fair that your Hackura Uncle’s always get the bad guys. His youngest boys need to practice their fire power and how to deal with traitors. It made him happy….it got rid of her screeching incessant wailing….seemed like a f*****g win all around to me.” Alpha Theo snorted, “She wasn’t wailing when she got here.” My mom shrugged, “Constant wailing Alpha Theo.” He laughed, “Did you charm her or hurt her?” I snorted, “She absolutely did both.” My mom popped and kissed my cheek, “If someone hurts my kids I will send you to hell and back. That’s the f*****g rule.” My dad smirked, “I do love you so, Angel.” She popped back to him and they started making out. Lux snorted, “They act like they are our age.” I rolled my eyes, “They’ve always been like this.” EJ nodded, “They have.” They popped away together. We sat and filled out the paperwork with Alpha Theo and Lux. Once we’d finished I asked, “Lux when are you and your brother taking over?” Lux smiled, “Next year we are going to start our phasing into it like you guys did. I wanted to wait until my brother was at least eighteen. My little sister’s birthday party is this weekend and then my brother is next. He’ll have six month of joining dad and I on meetings like this instead of school. If he’s not ready we can delay. We will just take it by ear.” 

                I laughed, “Alpha Theo, how old is your youngest daughter now? I feel like she was just born.” Alpha Theo smiled, “She will be two. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to make Lead Warrior Jason’s mating ceremony. Her party is the same day, and I can’t disappoint my beautiful princess by asking her to move her party.” I shrugged, “I get it. I’d give Cass or Angela the world, and they are my sisters.” Alpha Theo nodded, “I am deeply sorry I didn’t realize Ashley was really Melanie.” I shrugged, “We’d never even met her. You are allies with Red Run, but it’s not like you guys are very close with them. You see them around.” Alpha Theo sighed, “That’s going to be changing. I can’t believe they had the state of their pack hidden by a witch. I wish I’d have gotten her to tell me.” Lux sighed, “If only my seductive powers weren’t cockblocked by her love for Alexander….we’d have known.” I spit out my water. EJ bit his lip. I growled. Lux smiled, “What? Women tell me things in bed. I have excellent pillow talk skills.” I rolled my eyes, “Of that I have no doubt. Get out of our office before I punch you.” Lux laughed and took off outside. 

                Alpha Theo smiled, “He’s a good kid. I wish I had taken him and his little sister from his mother. She’s a piece of work. His sister just wasn’t mine to take...It was a one and never again situation….neither of you boys know what I mean...your dad does...Anyway...if I’d taken his sister….their mother could’ve come at me legally….I should’ve fought her at least.” I asked, “How old is his sister now?” Alpha Theo sighed, “She’s either almost seventeen or she is. I don’t remember when her birthday is.” We nodded, “We will keep looking. We don’t want another woman in a situation like our mom was with Alania.” Alpha Theo smiled, “If Morgana surfaces….I don’t care….I’ll take the girl. My lawyers have been building a case. She’s not a fit mother.” I nodded, “If you need anything from us, you’ll have it.” He nodded and got up to leave. I sighed, “This is going to be a long day. How many more people are going to come for my mate, EJ?” EJ frowned, “They can come if they want. She’s not leaving.” I nodded. We could hear the rebels practicing as we caught up on paperwork. Finally, it was time to go. I stood, “God, I prefer the days where I’m in the gym all day.” EJ laughed, “Luckily, you have quite a few of those days coming up.” I smile, “Thank god.” 

                We popped over to the party. TJ was right by Allison’s side as she played with her friends. I frowned, “Where’s the band?” I saw Mason and Hendrick behind the stage. I tensed, “Where’s Melanie?” I linked her and she told me they were coming. I relaxed. Cassie snorted, “The girls want to make an entrance. I’m popping them in. Paige decided they should have specific outfits today. I guess normally they don’t.” Cassie shrugged and popped away. Cayden sighed, “I wish she would stop doing that. Especially right now.” I snorted, “She’s inside the house. She’s fine.” Cassie popped back seconds later looking like she was going to burst out laughing. I raised an eyebrow, “What’s wrong?” Cassie smiled, “After the set…..give Melanie thirty minutes to mingle.” I frowned, “She can mingle with me by her side.” Cassie snapped a ballcap on my head. I raised an eyebrow at her. She smiled innocently, “Thirty minutes, for me. Please?” I raised an eyebrow, “Did Mel ask for me to leave her alone?” Cassie shook her head, “No, she didn’t.” I snorted, “I’ve barely seen her all day. I’ll be glued to her side.” Cassie pouted, “Alexander…..please……” I groaned, “Fine.” Cassie clapped, “YAY!” She felt incredibly mischievous. 

            Cayden gaped, “Oh dear god...Cass…” Cassie laughed, “He gave his word already.” Jason growled. I turned and dropped my drink and growled. Melanie was in a short skirt with...god help me fishnets. In a very tight white t-shirt. I took a step forward. EJ grabbed my hand, “She’s in the band. This is for Allison.” I glared at Cassie, “You knew about her outfit.” Cassie smiled, “Yes, and I knew what your reaction would be. It’s her first big event with the allies. She should at least have thirty minutes to talk to some people. It was a minimum.” I snarled, “Fifteen.” Cassie smirked, “You already agreed to thirty.” I growled, “That was before….that!” I pointed at my mate. Several teenagers were leering at her. I snarled at them. They quickly stopped. Cassie rolled her eyes, “Come on…..” I sighed, “Fine, but only because I already agreed.” Cassie laughed, “Why do you think I asked before they came out here?” I rolled my eyes, “You are lucky I love you so damn much, little sister.” I kissed her forehead. She smiled, “I love you too.” I teased her, “It’s moments like this….I wonder.” Cassie punched me in the arm. Melanie was switching between the acoustic and electric guitar. I’d adjusted my pants several times. She could even sing. Aesir was testing my restraint. 

            EJ linked, “You don’t notice it….but T is giving you a look.” I linked EJ back, “My mate has on the shortest skirt I’ve ever seen her in with FISHNETS…..I literally couldn’t spare T or his look any space in my brain to comprehend or interpret…..or give a single fuck.” EJ snorted, “Ok then.” Melanie eventually looked my way. I let her see what she was in store for with my eyes. She blushed. f**k me. I was going to set a timer for thirty minutes. When the band took an intermission I’d intended to take her somewhere quiet; however, her friends got her to dance. The teenagers from the surrounding packs wanted to have a dance off. I linked EJ, “Do they not know that Melanie McAlister dances?” EJ snorted, “They are doing a hip hop dance off. I doubt more than Red Run knows that Melanie knows all the styles of dance.” I edged closer. I needed a kiss at least. Melanie moved closer to me, and I thought we were on the same page. She was so close to me I could feel her breath. I was about to duck my head for a kiss when she snatched my hat off and did a dance move to put it on her own head. I raised an eyebrow. The teenagers lost their s**t over it. My girl wanted to play. Her friends dragged her backstage. I walked back over to our group.

            Micah snorted, “The best part is….she NO idea…..none. She just took your hat...that’s all she thinks happened.” Max snorted, “It is. She’s asking her bandmates what they are talking about her riling him up.” I told Cassie, “If me sticking to the thirty minutes doesn’t tell you how f*****g much I love you….nothing will.” Cassie laughed, “She’s perfect for you. Plus, I really like her. What’s her drink of choice?” I smiled, “I love her, and it’s a cranberry vodka.” It felt like they played for hours. I linked EJ, “This is how I die.” EJ laughed, “I don’t think werewolves die from a massive hard on.” I told him, “I might be the first.” EJ smiled, “There will be no dying little brother.” Cassie popped Cayden backstage. I sighed in relief, “Thank god. They are done.” I started a timer on my watch.” EJ laughed, “She’s not even off stage.” I shrugged, “That was not specified. They are done playing. My timer has started….don’t test me brother.” EJ howled with laughter. Elise smiled, “Don’t tease him, EJ. I think they are so cute together.” EJ nodded, “Of course they are.” Micah added, “They are striking. I can just see their kids now. A little girl with black hair and boys with your signature Conners blonde hair.” It hit me hard how much I wanted to see Melanie and I’s pups. I couldn’t deny the thought of already being owned by a little girl with dark hair like her mother….made me want pups. We hadn’t talked about that yet though. I needed to talk to her about her Luna Ceremony and our mating ceremony. Hell...I needed to propose. I had a ring already. I’d had it for two years. I’d known her favorite color was red….when I saw this ring...I knew it was the one.

            EJ touched my arm, “Already thinking about pups?” I smirked, “Who wouldn’t in my situation? We will talk about that, but I’d be fine with pups whenever she’s ready. If she needs time that’s fine. I was thinking I need to talk to her about several ceremonies.” Elise snorted, “You need to get a ring.” I smirked, “I have one.” Elise shrieked, “WHAT?! EJ!” EJ yelled, “Ow! You buy an engagement ring and I get hit. How does that math add up?” Elise hissed, “Did you know he had a ring?” EJ nodded, “Yes. He’s had it for about two years now.” I snorted, “I don’t even want to know how you know.” EJ smirked at me. Elise hit him in the arm, “Why didn’t you tell me?” EJ sighed, “It’s not like he showed it to me. I don’t know what it looks like. I just know where it is, and that he has one.” I smiled, “Melanie will see it first.” Elise squealed, “Get on that.” I laughed, “I’ll plan something, don't worry.” My timer went off. Cassie sighed, “I should’ve gone for an hour.” I snorted, “But you didn’t.” I spotted Melanie with TJ and popped near him. I grabbed her around the waist and told her she was mine now. I popped her to my place in Faerie. I nipped her marking spot….God this was killing me. I needed to talk to Corbin tomorrow. 

            I whispered, “I think that’s my hat.” Melanie giggled, “No….It’s my hat now.” I chuckled. And blew on her neck. She shivered in my arms. I nipped at her breast through her shirt and bra. I pushed us against the wall. She wrapped her legs around me. I whispered, “Are you wet for me Lovebug? I’m so damn hard right now.” Melanie unwrapped her legs from around me. Her hands gently unbuckled my belt. She was still nervous to do this. She looked up into my eyes. The innocence in hers had my heart melting. She unbuttoned my pants and unzipped them without looking away. She pulled my jeans down. Then my boxers. I snapped them away. She eyed me and licked her lips. I couldn’t stop my groan. She licked me from the base to the tip before putting me into her mouth. I gently grabbed the back of her head. She still seemed uncertain about this. If only she knew how close I was to coming from her face near my d**k. She timidly touched my balls. I grunted which seemed to embolden her. She began to tentatively play with them. I couldn’t help beginning to move my hips. She sucked harder. I hissed, “f**k MEL!” She squeezed my balls lightly and I came hard. I roared her name. She pulled back and giggled, “I guess I got lipstick….umm…” I laughed, “On my d**k? You can say d**k. It’s ok.” She blushed. I slammed my lips onto her. I linked her, “I don’t care about the lipstick. I love your blushed.” 

            When we pulled back she grinned, “Catch me Alpha.” I gaped, “Mel!” She took off. I snarled, “MEL! COME BACK HERE!” She giggled, “Nope! Hurry up my Alpha…..” She was gone through the front door. I was frozen for half a second. I took off after her. She was across the field already. I linked Oden, “She doesn’t know where she’s going.” Oden snickered, “She’s headed for the lovers lake so…..she’s got good instincts.” I snorted and took off. I snarled at several people along the way. They immediately turned around. Melanie had stopped. She was gaping around her. I grabbed her around the waist and jumped into the lake. When we surfaced she gasped, “I saw….a unicorn...are we in Faerie?!” I smirked, “We are and you’ve been very naughty.” My lips claimed hers. I ripped a hole in her fishnets and broke her thong. She whimpered, “Claim me, Xander.” I asked, “You never told me if you were wet or not, Lovebug.” She flushed, “Yes….you look at me and it’s….crazy.” I smirked and slammed into her. She gripped me hard around the shoulders. I told her, “I love you so damn much, Melanie.” She moaned, “Xander……” I rocked us back and forth. Oden snickered, “You forgot…..these waters have….amorous properties.” I hadn’t. It just hadn’t mattered before. Melanie began panting. She pulled on my hair gently. I popped us to one of the places for royals. I snapped a bed. I gently tossed her on it. 

            I flipped her around and spanked her. She gasped, “Harder.” I chuckled, “I could conjure a paddle.” Melanie nodded, “Please...god!” I smirked and conjured a paddle and lightly spanked her. I conjured a ring vibrator. I gently ran it over her c**t. She gripped the bed. I kept that up until she came. She turned and pulled me down on top of her. I smirked and we tumbled around fighting for who would be on top. Eventually I was so high strung I couldn’t take it. I pinned her and slid back inside her. She raked her nails down my back. I growled. I felt the earth calling out to me as my earth powers unlocked to their full power. I smirked and let it go. You’re welcome, Faerie. I wasn’t prepared for Melanie to react so intensely. She wasn’t in heat, but she was insatiable. I only knew she wasn’t in heat because Oden assured me she’d smell different. He’d said Freya agreed. We didn’t fall apart even after I popped us back to my place. We just went from room to room having s*x. It wasn’t until four in the morning until we finally calmed down. I snorted, “I think I’ll have to keep my ass in the gym for your heat.” Melanie snickered, “Maybe. Was that your earth or sky power releasing?” I raised an eyebrow, “It was my earth power. How did you know that?” Melanie blushed, “I read a lot about fairies in Red Run.” I kissed her, “I love you.” Melanie touched my face, “I’ve always loved you Xander.” Her eyes faded shut. 

            I kissed her forehead and sent EJ a text telling him where we were. He’d probably figured it out. When I woke up, I heard Aunt Lucinda chatting away with Melanie. I snapped myself some clothes and walked out. Uncle Aiden greeted me in a suit. He snapped me into one with a red tie. He smirked, “Your mate is in a fancy dress. These chocolate muffins by the way…..phenomenal. There’s a brunch in your honor. Let’s go.” He popped me to Melanie and Aunt Lucinda. I gaped, “Melanie….You look breathtaking.” She flushed, “I guess everything here is formal. Your Aunt was gracious enough to snap me clothes.” She was in a red mermaid style red fitted dress with sleeves. The front of the middle was missing material everywhere but where her breasts were. When she turned I was a little surprised to see there was material on her back. Still...closer. We popped into the brunch together. People cheered our arrival. I saw several glowing women. Aunt Lucinda sighed, “If only I’d been here. You pop to see your niece and miss all this.” I laughed, “Which one?” Lucinda smiled, “Lila. I work with her on her fairy powers. She’s got a lot of talent in the sky area and fire of course.” I smiled, “Of course she does.” Lila was my Uncle Arion’s daughter. She’d focused on her witchcraft and fire side. She’d just started with her sky and earth side training. 

            My Uncle must have asked someone in my family what drink Melanie liked. The champagne had cranberry juice splashed in it. Melanie had a few while people thanked her for pleasing me so well I released magic. She was practically the color of her dress as she downed champagne. Uncle Aiden chuckled, “I like her Alexander.” I smiled, “That’s good. I love her.” My Uncle smiled, “We know. You broke a few hearts around here when we figured out it was you. So many females want you here as a lover.” I snorted, “As long as they don’t tell my mate that….they’d probably not like the response they got from her.” I looked around. I asked, “Where did Mel go?” I heard a punch. I snorted, “Never mind.” I followed the sound, and found a fairy female on the ground. Unconscious. I bit my lip, “Mel?” She grabbed me by the suit jacket and slammed her lips onto mine. I wrapped my arms around her, and leaned into the kiss. My Uncle laughed, “Well now….the heat is rising in the room for sure. I am terribly sorry about whatever  Delsea said to you, Melanie.” Melanie pulled back, “She’s all straightened out now. Don’t worry about it, King Aiden.” Uncle Aiden rolled his eyes, “I told you before….call me Aiden.” She smiled, “Ok, Aiden.” We stayed for a little bit longer before we popped home.

            Drake gasped, “Ladybug….you look beautiful.” Melanie flushed, “Thanks dad.” He hugged her, “Your mom and I are going to spend the night in Red Run since Jason’s mating ceremony is tomorrow.” Melanie nodded. She gave him and her mom a quick hug then ran upstairs. I laughed and popped to our room. She was already on the phone with Addison making sure everything was already. I kissed her and popped to EJ. We handled a few disputes. EJ snorted, “I heard you started...a short lived concupiscence for the mated females in Faerie.” I wiggled my eyebrows, “Did we ever.” I winked at him and took off to find Mel. I found her already asleep. I looked at my watch. Oden snorted, “She didn’t sleep last night.” I jumped into the shower. I crawled into bed with her. I pulled her to me and answered a few emails. Jason called me. I popped outside, “Jason.” Jason said, “Hey man….you guys are coming tomorrow...right?” I snorted, “Of course. I’m standing up with you man...remember?” Jason snorted, “I meant Ladybug.” I said, “She’s said she’s coming. I have no reason to believe she’s not.” Jason sighed in relief, “Ok. I’ll….well...see you both then.” I laughed and hung up. 

        I popped back to bed and went to sleep. I woke up the aroma of bacon….it had to be a lot to reach me. I jumped up and popped outside for our run. It was one for the record books; we'd completed it so fast. Fowler linked me, “We are buried in food in the pack house. It’s like a challenge…..everyone in the pack could eat some and get seconds man….what’s up with the muffin Luna? By the way…..I’m hoarding the chocolate muffins. She made so many.” I sighed, “I’d imagine she’s nervous.” I walked into the kitchen. My dad linked, “Ok….you need to get her out of here before the planet runs out of food.” I grabbed Melanie around the waist, “I think that’s enough food.” She handed me a plate, “I made...ok it’s a lot of food. You should eat some...everyone should...god...it’s too much food. I could run some to Yellow Hills...yes...I could do that...Then...well they are a pretty big pack….Two packs combined. Thunders Ridge might need food too…” I kissed her. She melted into me. I pulled back, “It’s going to be ok.” She buried her head in my chest, “I’m sorry.” Her broken whisper had me popping her to our room. I pulled back, “Melanie McAlister….you have nothing to be sorry for.” She wiped tears away, “I wasted a lot of food.” I shook my head, “No, you didn’t. My mom will conjure it to the Hackura realm….and Faerie probably.” Sierra came in, “It’s handled. They needed more food for the mating ceremony. You have actually saved the day. One of their cooks was sick, and Avery has been cooking up a storm. She’s relieved to be able to stop. Haley conjured the food there.” Melanie nodded, “Ok.”
