CHAPTER 31
The two Iranian spies assigned to assist Tannaz were in Ft. Lauderdale. They knew where the private detective lived and were tailing him. They followed Wayde, the morning he went to breakfast, and then boarded a fishing charter. They watched as two men, dressed in black suits, boarded the Laniru. The Iranians witnessed the conversation between Wayde and the two men. They continued watching as the fishing boat left the dock and headed out toward the Intracoastal Waterway.
In the evening newspaper, they read about two men, Paul and Frank Moreli, from Detroit Michigan, being killed aboard the fishing boat Laniru. They called Tannaz, who was in Detroit, and told her about Jake Wayde and the incident with the two men. In a previous call, they’d given her the names they’d beaten out
