CHAPTER 14
In the morning, Wayde left Betti’s and went back to his apartment. He called the Hard Rock Hotel and learned Ambassador Bradley checked out. Then he called Tiny and asked him to come over.
Thirty minutes later, Tiny showed up at Wayde’s condominium. Wayde was making scrambled eggs with cheese, onions, green pepper and mushrooms. He opened the door for Tiny and went back into the kitchen.
Tiny beamed. “Hey, man, that smells good.”
“Come on in; I made enough for an army.”
“Well, I’m at least a full platoon,” laughed Tiny as he poured himself a cup of coffee.
Wayde grinned. “I won’t disagree with that.”
Tiny sat down at the kitchen table. While Wayde continued cooking, he told Tiny about his night at the Hard Rock Casino.
