CHAPTER 17 Wayde woke up well rested. It was eight o’clock on Friday morning when he made a pot of coffee and called Tiny. They agreed to meet for breakfast at the Bahia Cabana restaurant at nine. Tiny was already sitting at a table out on the deck, overlooking the water, when Wayde arrived. “Wayde, you look raring to go.” “When I returned from Nassau, I took a hot shower, downed four fingers of Early Times, and slept for ten hours. I haven’t done that in years.” “Was Nassau worth the trip?” Wayde chuckled. “Yeah, ‘worth it’ is a good choice of words. You’re not going to believe this.
