The next morning, Wayde and Tiny boarded the Delta flight to the Norfolk International Airport. Earlier an attractive dark-haired woman, Melody Morgan boarded a flight to Atlanta, Georgia.
At nine, the same morning, Beverly Lange entered her real estate office in Buckhead, an upscale, uptown district within the city of Atlanta. She turned on the Dell computer, removed the coffee pot from the Proctor Silex coffee maker, and went into the bathroom. She filled the glass container with water, went back to a small table beside her desk and made coffee.
Beverly sat at her desk and brought up recent real estate listings on the computer. She was waiting for a Melody Morgan, who had left a telephone message that she’d be at Beverly’s office at ten-thirty.
