The One Who Survived

“Once upon a time… there was Humanity.” 100 years after the apocalypse wiped all human race in the earth, these’s a group of people who survived that nightmare. And they go to space to escape and start over, but for how long?  Alyx a 17 year old boy fixing his things while reading his favorite book.  “Alyx please get ready son.” his mom shouted. “Yes mom, i’m almost done, be there in a sec.” he answered. They’re getting ready for their weekly gathering, they need to talk about their plan to go back to earth. Because the Arc; the ship where they used to live is not survivable anymore, lacked of oxygen and food and other necessities. It’s been 100 years since the apocalypse happened. Would they survive again and live the life they wanted? --- ‘We gather today to talk about our mission to go back to earth, we all know that our ship is nearly giving up on us. Me and the other commanders have been decided to bring 10 kids down back to earth.’ Commander Riley said. (Everyone look at each other with a confused faces.) ‘Our kids?’ - Lady shouting at the back ‘Yes maam, 10 of our kids.’ - Commander Mara answers ‘I have a list of those kids here, ready in my hand.’ - Commander Gaia shouted Veronica Jones Charlie Wright Allison Grigg Pauline River Alex Newt Clark Wolf Jasper Choi Kirk Priceton Keith Priceton Alyx Heisenberg ‘All of you go and get ready, you will be leaving as soon as the Orion (spacecraft they will use to travel back to earth) is ready.’ - Commander Riley  Alyx and his mom looked at each other with a worried faces.  Alyx: Why my name is on that list? I don’t still have my power. I’m useless down there. Mom: There’s nothing we can do son, they have been decided who’s who and i can’t do anything i’m sorry. *she hugged him and prayed to changed their minds about his son.* *Alyx go to his room and packed his things, in his thought why do they need him, he doesn’t have anything to do to help.* He remembers those 9 who already got their powers. Veronica - Invisibility Charlie - Super Speed Allison - Mind Control Pauline - Telekinesis Alex - Teleportation Clark - Time Freezing/Stopping Jasper - Super Senses Kirk - Shapeshifting Keith - Shapeshifting and there he is, powerless. He remembers, he’s already 17 and still got no luck in his own ability. When he reached the age of 18 and still got anything he will be executed immediately. It’s because someone said few decades back, they will be a new Catastrophe , an event that will cause a huge damage again on Earth. By a power or ability coming from someone that can’t tame his/her power.
